This was a very unfortunate circumstance and such an inconvenience for Kacie. I would have felt the same sentiment I am quite sure.
During this booking, I was traveling with significant delays and had someone helping me with inquiries. Within that time, my communications to reach the person helping me were disrupted. When I discovered the terrible mistake, I was in between connections and wanted to refund Kacie ASAP. In my rush, I thought that the refund was the best first step, and to follow with a phone call.
I am again regretful of this terrible experience for Kacie. It is the worst inconvenience when accommodations must be changed last minute. I have experienced this personally on two occasions in my life and it was beyond frustrating, so I do truly hate this happened and was, and am, sincerely apologetic.
I tried to make some consolation by offering Kacie a future weekend with a complementary night, and with no limitations on when she chose.
