I am an English as a Second Language teacher who loves reading, cooking, baking, fine wine, animals, long walks, films, concerts, language-learning and travel. At last count, I had visited 30+ countries and count Australia, Germany and Italy among my favorites. Generally, I try to be on a plane the day school ends and spend my summers exploring new cultures--through food, wine and new friends! When I am not traveling or planning the next trip, I can usually be found reading travel memoirs. Low-key and easy-going, I have hosted friends from all over the world, as well as complete strangers, and even the occasional touring singer-songwriter or musical group.
