Everything was perfect.. the room, the hosts, the breakfast, the location. Check out Buffalito restaurant right across the street!
Nice B&B close to the center of La Paz. Very private.
Great place to lay our head during our one night stay in La Paz! Thank You!
Great place: nice hosts, fabulous location near the malecon, and a good value in La Paz.
Edigio and Cristina were very responsive and accommodating hosts. The room was clean and spacious, very pleasant with a gorgeous second floor patio to relax on at the end of a long day on the beach. Nice, strong coffee was always waiting in the morning to be enjoyed beside the succulent garden. Very centrally located, but much quieter than staying directly on the Malecon. I would definitely stay again!
Casa el Centro was a lovely home base for our great experiences in La Paz. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, the breakfast outstanding and the entire stay very "homey". We would look forward to staying again.
We enjoyed our stay in the Terrazza room. The room was very clean and large, with a king size bed. It also included a large private terrace. Guests have use of a communal refrigerator and microwave, which is handy. A tasty hot breakfast is served in a pretty garden patio. Location is excellent, close to the malecon, and walkable to everywhere in town. But to get to the best beaches north of town (Playas Balandra and Tecolote) you'll need a car or a taxi can take you there. Edidgio was a very accommodating and friendly host who speaks English; we had interesting conversations with him. He recommended local restaurants, and helped us out when Baja Ferries canceled the Mazatlan route and we had to change our plans at the last minute. I highly recommend Casa Al Centro B & B.
Cute little B&B in the middle of La Paz. The rest of the town seems to be in a bit of a funk, but this place seems to be doing just fine. Space was clean and comfortable, if a little basic (bed, fan, bathroom; no extra amenities). Edigio & Christina were friendly and helpful when asked, but laid back to the point of almost seeming apathetic; for example, Edigio gave awesome restaurant recommendations and directions, but didn't put towels in the room and I had to ask a few times before he remembered to do it. Didn't get a chance to try their breakfast, but their meal space in the back of the home seemed pretty and relaxing. Overall, it was what I expected.
We just got back from a wonderful 8-night stay at Casa Al Centro in beautiful La Paz, Mexico. The hosts Egidio and Christina were very friendly and accommodating. The B&B is kept immaculately clean and has a very intimate feel with only three rooms and is close to the malecon. The quiet patio setting was perfect for the nice breakfasts in the mornings.
This was a very nice place to stay in La Paz, only a block to the bay and the Malecon. Breakfast in the garden was delightful and the room was a good size. Bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. Egidio was helpful. Overall, nice B and B.
