I stayed here for 4 nights while in New York for business. Tyler has a beautiful studio apartment right on the corner of W15th St and 8th Avenue. When I arrived the place was very clean and well presented. The decor has lots of character and if you enjoy art and design there is a large collection of books to browse through too. The apartment is really conveniently located, right above the subway station, and in the evening you're just a couple of blocks from Chelsea Market and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. This was my first AirBnB experience and I was extremely satisfied. Be aware the apartment is on the 5th floor, so might not be suitable for some people.
Julian was a wonderful guest. Our home was treated with respect and he was very easy to communicate with, very kind and courteous with all things. He's exactly the type of traveler you want and I full recommend Julian.
I can fully recommend staying at this awesome apartment if you need to be somewhere around Chelsea. Exactly as described and shown in the pictures, 5th floor and directly opposite of the Google building. Just not 5 stars as communication was some kind of hesitant due to Tyler travelling in remote areas.. Big thanks for having me..
Cal has a great and spacious place.
It's comfy and phenomenally well situated. How downstairs and you have access to the A, C, E & L.
Some of my favourite restaurants are in the area too.
A fe things you should know:
1. It's the corner of 8th Ave, West 15th. Noisy. That's the price you pay for the viby location. Get earplugs.
2. It's on the 5th floor - no elevator
3. The buzzer doesn't work, but he's busy fixing it. So if you have parcels coming - check the buzzer and if it's not fixed, make pals with the guys across the road to get stuff delivered there. It's a really common practice.
4. Other tenants are really cool and helpful. Great block of people.
All in all - sweet spot to stay in and Cal is always contactable for questions.

Cal's place was the perfect spot for my workweek in NYC. Situated just a few blocks from the Highline, Chelsea Market, and several wonderful bars, the home was welcoming respite after a long day in the city. I forgot that there was a television because of the tranquility of the space, and never even turned it on. Comfortable bed and able space for an impromptu dinner if you can ever possible tire of NYC eats.
Great spot and Cal has some great local secrets he is willing to reveal. It's not a quiet spot but I guess that's NYC. Apartment is all you would hope for.
The apartment has an awesome location, in the heart of Chelsea, steps away from major subway lines. It is an incredible loft, which turned out to be extremely comfortable during a 10 day stay. I would definitely recommend it.
Cal's apartment is a great place with an unbeatable location - the stairs from the A/C/E Lines almost directly lead you to the Cal's staircase! For those with light sleep please take into account that it is a busy street corner so there is considerable noise from NY city life outside - we loved it and got used to it very quickly. I would have no hesitation to stay again at Cal's place!
Amazing! Love the place and Zach was extremely helpful. I'd love to stay there again on my future trips to NYC!
Cal's place was my little oasis while on a business trip to NYC. He was incredibly helpful and worked with me to make sure I was comfortable while I stayed at his apartment. Thanks to him, I had a great stay in NYC!
Cal and his friend are very nice. We appreciated very much there stay in An Hai Villa.
