French canadian, food perv, passionate about travels. I made some short trips in Vietnam, Portugal, France, Porto Rico without mentioning the long weekends in Brooklyn, Las Vegas or Charlevoix. Still then, I always wanted to see more of a place, to experience the way people live there, to build memories that are only yours. I wanted to call a new city my home. Been working in the digital media world since I was 20, I often complained that it was too late now to take that risk. So I think I kinda ordered the events of 2003 when the company that I was working for announce that they will be laying off 10% off the employees.
After a month of packing up, cleaning up, trying to organize 26 years in boxes, a lot of trips to my parent’s garage and sister’s basement, my arms filled with cooking books and craft beer glasses, I embarked in a year long trip down under in 2013 after loosing my job at the Cirque du Soleil headquarters in Montreal. Since then, I’ve lived the backpacker life in Melbourne, enjoying the cafés and restaurants, toured a bit in Australia, New Zeland and South East Asia and spent a winter in the UK.
I’m finally back home, in Québec, moving to Montréal in a bit to enjoy a good canadian summer. And to plan the next trips!
