Nina's home on Swan River Road was everything our group had hoped for. Very nice vacation spot with an amazing backyard featuring views of the river, fire-pit, two connecting decks, and plenty of seating. Great location right near many food places, liquor store, and local nightlife. The 3 full bathrooms was a nice bonus. Our group had a great time in West Dennis at Nina's home. Highly recommended!!
Really nice place that maximizes space for the price. 3 comfortable bedrooms and full baths are great for a family. The central location is very convenient to the major streets and highways. All in all a very good stay.
Plenty of room for family. Good location. Clean.
Excellent water pressure in the showers, except the outdoor shower didn't work. Do not use their linens! There is a Walmart nearby.
When my oldest son was married out of state 2 years ago friends used AirBNB for their family to stay and have a vacation and highly recommended. So. With my younger son getting married on Cape Cod decided to give it a try. I was very happy with the experience. My host was accommodating and left me helpful information. Saturday to Saturday would not work for me due to wedding and host allowed me to also rent 2 days early.
The groomsmen had a place other than hotel room to meet, get ready, take pics which was nice for my son & I.
Rented entire home since did not want to share with others which I did not realize at first that it was by number of bedroom required. Only complaint was the furniture in living room was uncomfortable for one family member who is 6'5". Fortunately great weather with a beautiful deck, views and comfortable chairs kept the furniture from becoming an issue. The house was clean and conveniently located and my host,Nina, was cordial and accommodating--it was a great experience and made for some wonderful family moments. So much better than a hotel!
The house is beautifully situated, with the fenced back yard and decks having a clear view of Swan River and the public riverbank (although in June we never saw anyone in the public area during our four-day stay). Although the house is close to the road, we were never disturbed by traffic noise since it is a quiet road.
The house is very clean and beautifully decorated, with three spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds (one with a Queen bed, one with a King, and one with twin beds). You are expected to bring linens, but Nina provided us with King sheets free. There is Satellite TV in both the living room and room with a Queen.
Cooks will enjoy the gas stove and stainless steel appliances, although the pots, pans, knives, etc. are not at the gourmet level, just adequate for a holiday.
Outside beckons with comfortable furniture, an outdoor fireplace and shower, and a barbeque (inexplicably you are responsible to fill up the tank if you find it empty even if you only want to barbeque once!). The public beach is 1.1 miles south and the Cape Cod Rail Trail (with a bicycle rental shop at $13 minimum charge for the first two hours and a maximum charge per day of about $20) is 1.4 miles north.
We never met Nina but she emailed us to see if everyone was okay and left us a small souvenir gift. We do not hesitate to recommend this lovely home in beautiful Cape Cod.
We had a lovely stay at Nina's. The location is very convenient as you can reach easily many points of interest in the Cape. The house is pleasant, very clean, new, cosy and welcoming. The three bedrooms and bathrooms are well spread in the house, so everybody is pretty much independent.
The terrace is giving on the river where you can canoe.
We really enjoyed our stay !
