I was concerned about being honest in communicating some of the issues with the apartment before the review process was complete. I was trying to help in making recommendations but I see my fear was a bit justified. Several guests had complaints about the slats falling out of the bed (one slept on the couch) and there not being enough supplies and utensils in the kitchen to cook with. I had specifically asked about the latter, and was told prior that there was no problem. It's important for hosts, especially those renting multiple units as a business, to read to and respond to reasonable constructive criticism in reviews by correcting problems and not leaving them for future guests to continue to observe.
