I'm a graphic designer and photographer living in Brooklyn. I moved here from San Francisco nearly five years ago. Always happy to meet and host new people from all over the world!

I stayed at Lydia's place for a week in June and it was perfect. The location was great; super accesible and a really fun neighborhood. There was a ton of great food, coffee and bars nearby. Lydia was an amazing host as well. She left some neighborhood guides and fun suggestions for things to do around Brooklyn. She was great about checking in throughout the week to make sure everything was ok, and even ordered new food to be delivered when the kitties ran out so that I didn't have to. The kitties were adorable, but definitely needy so make sure you set aside a little time to give them some love! The place is big and really nice, and the a/c was a huge help as it did get pretty hot throughout the week. Definitely recommend it!
Our stay at Lydia's house was our first experience travelling with airbnb and couldn't be better. Lydia is a great host. She keeps the contact with us all the time, by email and (website hidden). She is very friendly, kind and makes attention to all details Her place is just as you can see in the pictures. It's also very well located in a cool neighborhood: safe for tourist, with nice places to eat and markets to buy groceries, and easy to move to Manhattan by Metro (15 to 20 minutes max). Her kitties are very sweet and make you feel welcome. Be aware that as Lydia says, it's a place for people who likes to live with cats and take care of them. The apartment have air conditioner, which make the difference in summer (it's little noisy, but works perfect). If you chose this place, don't miss visiting Williamsburg and main Brooklyn sites such as Prospect Park (which is awesome!). We high recommend this apartment.
Had a great stay at Lydia's apartment she could not have been nicer. The place was very clean and spacious. Also the area is very nice. One of my favorite neighborhoods in NY (go to Carmine's Pizza when you come through. ) also we got to hang out with her awesome cats, Snacks and Snooze. Thanks again!
Stayed at Lydia's over the holidays with the cats. They were wonderful, and so was Lydia's place once again. Everything was super clean when I arrived, and despite neither of us being in NYC at the same time, getting the keys was quick and painless. It's a great place to stay in a great location with a great hostess. Thanks! :)
Lydia is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I stayed with her after the storm, and she (and the kitties) could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The apt is beautiful, a great size, and the office is about the size of many NYC bedrooms. Definitely be an animal lover because the 2 cats are very friendly and attention seeking, and they deserve someone who will entertain them and enjoy their company. I cannot thank Lydia enough for opening her home and sharing her space in a time where lots of people were affected by flooding. Thanks again! :)
Lydia's apartment was bright, spacious and well located. The A/C works well and the walk to the subway is quite short. You really do have to be cat lovers to stay here as the cats are quite hyper and needy but also adorable. Be sure to lock your things away as they get into everything. Lydia was a great host.
Wonderful, large apartment near the edge of Williamsburg/Greenpoint. Adorable, very lovable kitties! Lydia was very creative about getting us the keys which worked out very well. This place worked out perfectly for visiting our daughter who lives about a mile away, in Greenpoint. Close to subway (L) and easy location for getting to Manhattan or exploring the rest of Williamsburg. Lydia provided extensive notes about coffee shops, nearby services, and cat care. She even left O.J. and cold water in the fridge for us! Would definitely want to stay here again...
My boyfriend and I stayed at Lydia's for a long weekend and couldn't have been happier. The apartment is absolutely beautiful (and very clean), and Lydia was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. The cats were adorable and affectionate and didn't feel like a handful at all - we'll miss them! thank you Lydia!
both my friend & i had a blast in the city. it is near everything and yet calm. cats were crazy sometimes but adorable !!
Lydia's apartment is lovely! Very spacious and has everything you need for a relaxed stay in a quieter bit of Brooklyn. There are lots of cafes etc at the graham stop and it is walkable to Bedford. The flat is comfortable and very clean, the cats are cute, although they can be quite intense at first. Lydia kept in touch and was available for anything we needed, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her place and would definitely go back!
Lydia was a great guest, very quiet and clean, looking forward to her next stay.
Lydia, her boyfriend Ian, and her dog Darby stayed with us for a night during an extensive road trip and they were great guests! Her dog was incredibly well behaved and well socialized, and the two human guests were super as well! Lydia was easy to plan with, communicative, friendly, and tidy, and I'd happily host her and her companions again :)
Lydia is very nice young traveller, interested in history and art. It was nice to meet her and I will be happy to meet her again. Thank you, Veronika
Lydia and her boyfriend are very careful , the appartment was even cleaner after the week end ! thank you, you can come back when ever you want !
I love Lydia's apartment. I've stayed there a couple of times this year when I had to travel to NY for work. The location is great because it is minutes away from lots of great restaurants and watering holes, but really quiet and "away from it all" at the same time. The place is huge for a NY apartment, but also really cozy, especially with her two cats. Watch out! They might snuggle you to death!
