I'm originally from Chicago, where I studied food and wine in some well known restaurants. After several years, I made the move to New York and enjoyed everything it had to offer.
I've spent time working and studying in Bordeaux, Paris, and Lyon.
I worked with the the Peace Corps from 2010 until 2012 in Burkina Faso, volunteering with a large agricultural union (onions are my forté) and working on their food security and technological capacity.
Currently I'm working for a US Development Organization in Burkina Faso, focusing on Land Tenure Rights and Agriculture.
