I've been living and working in Roma for 4 years now and I'm still not tired to find interesting things about this wonderful city. I can give you some suggestions if you want and also explore a bit with you further places if I'm not working.
Our stay at Michele was really nice. Great place to stay in Rome. Local food isn't too far away, but need to know where your going.
The room was a described, but the wifi was dropping in and out.
All up, it was a great place to stay and easy when in Rome.
We felt at home in Roma thanks to Michele! The flat was really big and nice and well equiped. Michele toled us how to get there from the airport in details, met us at the door and showed everything we need. There are foodstores and pizza houses near by. Michele was always availble as he lives neighbour. So we felt like native sitezen and we are very thankful for kind care. Roma is amazing.
Me and my friends had a great comfortable stay in the flat. The flat is very spacious. The cleanliness is excellent. Almost everything is provided in the flat. The host is very friendly and is ready to help if there's any problem as he just stayed in the opposite of the flat. And there's a nearby restaurant (recommended by the host) which served excellent pizza. :)
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment is indeed very sunny and spacious. More comfortable for 2 people, rather than for 4, because the bedding in the second room is not the one you could dream about %) The kitchen is fully stuffed with everything you need, except for a kettle.
It took us around 45 minutes to get to the downtown on foot and there is a metro station quite close. Nearby we found some local cafes, there is a shop and a farmacy in a 2 minute walk.
There is a japaneese cafe on the ground floor and if you plan to go to sleep early, that would be a challenge - a lot of local people come together and have fun right under your windows.
Michele was very attentive and checked us in late at night, as we arrived. By the way, he lives right next door and in case of any request responds very quickly. He also gave us very good tips on local cafes and where-to-go.
Good value for the amount of money paid.
We had a fambulous 10-days stay in Michele's spacious and comfortable flat. The flat is clean and airy with it being on the 2nd floor. We appreciate it very much that the flat could accomodate an army due to its wide space. The house is complete with all the stuffs that you need for cooking, cleaning and washing the clothes and to add on to it there's the flat iron. Michele is very professional, kind and considerate. Always prompt in his replies with your inquiries. The flat is 5 minutes walk to the metro and the fresh market as well as a 7 minutes walk to the supermarket. I will definitely choose this place again when we go back to Rome! Thanks Michele!
I really loved staying in this apartment. As described it's really big and airy, with a fantastic kitchen, and is also very quiet. The neighborhood is great - all kinds of shops, a big open air market, a huge park down the street that is probably the best spot in Rome for running (which I did every day), very close to the Metro. If you don't need to be in the center of town I think it'd be hard to find a better situation. I commuted every day into town (Barberini stop) and it was probably a 25 minute trip, door to door.
Michele is a wonderful, good-hearted guy who is very reliable and also really, sincerely interested in your being happy in his place. I think I was his first long-term guest (I was there almost two months), and whenever I mentioned something that it'd be useful to have (clothes drying rack, cheese grater, etc.) it was there the next day. The bottom line is if I were to go back to Rome (which I probably will), this would be my first choice for accommodation.
And two tips: if you do stay there, the little kiosk right across from the Furio Camillo Metro stop, Pane Ciociaro, has great bread, and tons of other treats, too, and just beyond the Metro stop on Appia Nuova is a fantastic gelateria, Il Tentatore (it's just a hole in the wall, so you have to look for it), with a beautiful park (Villa Lazzarini) across the street from it where you can eat your gelato and watch the parrots. Darn, I miss that place already!
I really enjoyed my time at Michele's place. He is a great host. He sat with me to show me things on the map and recommend places to go. I enjoyed out talk! The space was perfect for me, and I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you Michele!
