MaryLynne communicated excellently throughout the entire process. I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, but her husband, Vlad, was a great host. He was very friendly and made sure I had all the information I needed and answered texts punctually. It was a beautiful apartment and I had a great time staying in their unit.
MaryLynne was an awesome host. Her husband met me at the door and showed me around the place and offered recommendations on where to go and what to do. The apartment is cute and comfortable and is an absolutely perfect location. The T stop is almost right outside the front door and Newberry St is also right there. I was coming and going at all hours of the day and night and it was always safe and easy to find. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a central base in Boston.

We really enjoyed our stay at MaryLynne's apartment. There was excellent communication throughout before arriving and then greeted us and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is centrally located, close to Boston Common with lots of nearby restaurant options and of course the Lindt chocolate store!
MaryLynne was a great hostess! After I flubbed a hotel reservation for St. Patrick's Day weekend in Boston, one of the busiest weekends of the year, MaryLynne came to my rescue, responding to my panicked inquiry in less than an hour. She then gave us recommendations for parking and restaurants, and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Extra sheets and blankets for the couch, instructions for operating the coffee maker, even little toiletries in case we forgot something -- I was so impressed by her thoughtfulness!
As for the apartment: AWESOME location, a stone's throw away from the Copley T station, and within walking distance of The Prudential Center, Newbury Street, the theater district, and even Fenway (if you don't mind a bit of a walk). Comfy and spacious living room/dining room area, with a sleepable couch (let's face it: they're not always sleepable!). Modern kitchen and bathroom with cool bells and whistles (Steam shower? Um, yes, please!). Very clean and comfortable for 3 people if 2 share the bed. And did I mention the location??
The heat was a bit much, even for winter in Boston, but we cracked a couple of windows and turned on the ceiling fans, and we were fine. The banging pipes did not disturb us at all. The apartment is exactly as depicted in the photos; we didn't brave the cold to check out the roof deck, but I wish we could have spent some time up there!
Overall a fantastic experience. If you are looking to stay in the Copley Square area, I highly recommend MaryLynne and her beautiful apartment!
Location, location, location! This little gem is located right near Copley Square in a beautifully updated old building. Right across the street from a T Station, it was an ideal base to quickly get all over Boston or to just enjoy being in the middle of the Back Bay. We had one small problem with a beeping smoke detector, which MaryLynne made sure was fixed immediately. The apartment was very clean, very quiet and the queen bed was comfortable. Great wifi connection and nice TV. Like many old buildings, it was very well heated, complete with occasionally banging pipes. We didn’t consider this to be a problem at all. We would definitely stay here again and felt that it was well worth the money.
MaryLynne's place is perfectly located, about a block from the Copley t-station, the Boston Public Library and right on Newbury St. Only a few blocks from the Prudential Mall, a Trader Joes, and the Public Gardens. Location is a total win!
The apartment itself has a small kitchen and a bathroom off the master bedroom, with the third person's accomodations being the couch in the sofa. Everything was comfortable (although the building heat was incredibly high, we were definitely sweating but such is the case with these old buildings) and pretty clean.
Was a great sleeping place for my parents and I on our visit to DC, would recommend it to others.
MaryLynne and husband were really great couple, they were really easy person to handle and also to plan they are holiday. I personaly didn't meet Mary, Wayan (manager) has organized all their need during their stay. I will recommend them as a good guest to receive in the future.
A pleasant couple -- friendly, nice guests.
Very nice guest!
Marylynne and her boyfriend were a very lovely couple, they enjoyed their stay here, performed various activities in the area and took good care of my place. Everything was left in perfect shape, thanks again for staying at Villa Malinche!

I can not say enough about Marylynne. She left the log home in such great shape that it was pleasant surprise. She went above and beyond my expectations as a guest. I could welcome her back anytime and would highly recommend her to any airbnb host.
Marylynne rented both The Mother Moose Log Home and the Baby Bear cabin. I highly recommend her as a guest. She is kind, communicative, and left the places spotless. I hope she considers us again in the future. She is the kind of guest that it is a delight to have stay.
