Fabrizo is a nice gentleman, with his accommodation support I lived in Trieste and in love with Trieste.
Great place to stay, good facilities and friendly host.
We stayed for two nights and had a great time. As there were no other guests we had the apartment to ourselves and it felt like home. Plenty of space and very atmospheric. We especially loved the old cinema chairs in the (wide) corridor which became our favorite place to sit!
It looked difficult finding a parking space, but each time no problem parking our car.
The one thing to keep in mind is there is no elevator, so with heavy bags it is a bit of a climb.
I thought the apartment was much more beautiful than was indicated in the photos! I really loved the space, and Fabrizio was lovely. The place is close to the station which was helpful. Its not in the centre exactly but Trieste is compact enough, it didnt matter too much. Also the bus system is efficient.
My friend and I were staying in Trieste only over night after 2 weeks of heavy-duty traveling. Fabrizio had listed his place as close to the railroad station, useful for us since we were leaving by train early in the morning Without a good map or instructions, we had some trouble finding the apt, but indeed, it is an easy walk from the station (the morning walk was a snap).
The apt is a a healthy walk upstairs, but the view once you're there is great (just as in the picture he provides), and the apt was just fine for us The furniture is unique and much of it truly beautiful.
Everything went well. Fabrizio is really nice and it seemed as if we had the place to ourselves. Great deal!
Fabrizio met us when we arrived and showed us all we needed to know about the place then left us to our own devices. It was exactly what we needed for our short stay in transit to Venice.
The room was much larger than expected, the bed was big and comfortable and there was a lovely view of the ocean. Easyish to find from the railway station and a short walk to restaurants and the centre of town.
Would stay again. Thanks Fabrizio.
We enjoyed our stay at Fabrizio's apartment on the fourth floor of a 19th century building in Trieste. It was a short walk from the central train station and also within walking distance of the main city center. Fabrizio was very helpful, providing a map and suggestions for taking the tram to the Carso for a beautiful walk above the city and coastline. We recommend it.
Nice art-deco furnished room. Super-friendly host. Location is within easy walking distance of train station, and walking to to city center can be done in about 20 minutes.
Fabrizio obviously loves his city, and so do we :)
Lovely unit, in a cool old building, the host was patient and could speak english well, i was late and he waited for me, the kitchen was stocked with foods and juice and coffee, the town is right on the water, as is the unit, i found cool vintage shops and wonderful cafes and bars and resteraunts, definitely worth a visit!
thank you Fabs!
