Emily was a wonderful host! Friendly, considerate, accommodating. She went out of her way to accommodate our arrival time, in spite of the fact that this took making additional arrangements. Her apartment is beautiful, modern, classy - with great light and great design. The location is a quick trolley ride away from the center of the French Quarter. I highly recommend staying here!
Emily could not have been a better host. She answered all my questions and concerns. She was always very positive in all our conversations.
The place it self was perfect. It has all you need for an extended stay. Walking distance to the French Quarter. I stayed there for Mardi Gras, so it was just what I was looking for. I will be looking her up again when I go back to NOLA.
This apartment is in a great location. Blocks away from Canal St and the streetcar, and walking distance from upper French Quarter and the Louis Armstrong Park. This place is beautifully charming and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again on my next visit to New Orleans.
Emily was an excellent host. Though she was out of town during our stay, she made it perfectly easy to get situated — even in our drowsy, storm-panicked state we had no trouble at all. The apartment itself was wonderful and incredibly well-located. When we come back to New Orleans, we can only hope that Emily's place will be available again. It was that great.
What a wonderful little apartment. We were delighted by this historic building in the CBD. It was in a convenient location and so cute! Emily has decorated the place very nicely--it was small, but clean. We felt very welcome and will happily stay with Emily again.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience staying at Emily's flat this October. The flat is in a historical building and easy to find and were fortunate to have free parking as an unexpected bonus. The unit itself is a large, cozy and well-decorated place perfect for two or three. It is centrally located which made for easy walks to the French Quarter, Frenchman St, Harrah’s and the Smoothie King Arena/Mercedes Superdome. It is also one block off Canal St., if the use of the trolley or bus is the preferred mode of transport.
One note – while we did not have an issue, it is close to the Tulane Medical Center and across the street from Fire Station 14, so there might be the occasional sound of a siren. Other than that, it is a very quiet neighborhood.
Anyone fortunate enough to stay at Emily’s flat will have a great time. She is friendly, responsive and easy to get in touch with and gave detailed instructions prior to our departure. We would not hesitate staying here on our next trip to New Orleans.
LOVED the candle! And appreciate your thoughtfulness so much! Thanks, Robert - and all the very best!
Emily was an AMAZING host! She detailed everything in an e-mail she promptly sent to me before leaving for New Orleans. The apartment was easy to find, and the free parking was a plus. Her apartment was decorated in such a visually appeasing way! The apartment was clean and centrally located to everything we wanted to check out in New Orleans. I would definitely stay here again!
Emily's flat is wonderful. It was perfect for our needs, within walking distance of the French Quarter and very clean. The place is really cozy and feels authentic - we felt like we got a real New Orleans experience that we couldn't get in a hotel.
Emily was a fantastic first Airbnb host! The warmth and charm of her apartment match her (website hidden) and chocolate (the way to my heart) were awaiting me when I arrived with French Press coffee available in the morning. She is located a walkable distance from transport and tourist sites alike. She was available for any questions that I had about her apartment or New Orleans and I would recommend this site to those looking to experience a more real side of New Orleans, not just the hotel and tourist side.
Stayed three nights in Emily's comfortable, clean, charming home. Loved having balconies - especially because the weather was perfect. We didn't have a car, but enjoyed walking everywhere. Otherwise, it's located a stones throw from the Canal street car or the bus to the airport. Save cab fare!
Emily and Mel are the sweetest. We so much enjoyed having them and their positive energy at our farm. We'd have them back any day of the week.
OMG, all thumbs up for Emily. Just an awesome and fun-driven personality and another very positive dog experience. Emily is an asset to any host and we recommend her and her dog highly.
Emily is a wonderful person- very caring, giving, and tidy; and her place is pretty incredible. (I'm still trying to get the keys next time she leaves town). She is very knowledgeable of the city and has a group of excellent friends who care about making this a strong and healthy place for y'all to visit.
And it certainly can't hurt to have a host who will also get you out of jail if you party a little too hard on Bourbon Street!
