We spent a wonderful holiday in this place. I recommended to all who come to Belgrade, whether the occasion is, business or pleasure . We felt like home. Everything is there, washing machine, dishwasher, cable TV, wireless Internet. The apartment is huge, beautifully decorated, with large bedrooms and spacious living room. The kitchen has everything, oven, water kettle, microwave. In the fridge there ware refreshments, on arrival. It is perfectly clean. In the closet is a bunch of new clean towels. We stayed here when it was very cold outside, but in the apartment was warm and cozy.
The apartment is in the center of town. Everything is nearby. We didn`t have to use public transport. We went shopping, tour city squares, restaurants, historical landmarks, all on foot.
The hosts are very friendly and we had excellent cooperation. They suggested us places to visit, recommend good restaurants, they even gave us the phone with Serbian card that we could use.
Because of the nature of my job I am often on the Internet, so it's very important to me to have good wireless Internet. Here there certainly is.
The beds are comfortable, hotel linen white, which maid changed every 4 days (we thought it`s not necessary).
Immediately opposite the building in which the apartment is very nice bar where you can drink coffee or hot chocolate ( I recommend).
Next to the entrance of the building is a bakery and pizzeria, where you can find always fresh pastries for breakfast.
Skadarlija, bohemian quarter, with excellent national cuisine restaurants is about 15 minutes walk (reservation is not needed).
The building has an elevator which is a great convenience when you have a small child and you need to climb upstairs.
Anyone who decides to have this accommodation certainly will not go wrong, because this is really luxury place that will be hard to find for that amount of money.
Given that I will come again with my family in Belgrade, I will not think twice about accommodation, definitely I found everything I needed to feel at home. I love this place!
We were a group of four guys going to Belgrade for the wedding of a very dear friend. It was all done at the very last minute but everything went perfectly thanks to Jasmina. The apartment is in a nice neighborhood very close to the place with all the bars and restaurants, everything was within walking distance and there was a great supermarket right opposite the flat. The apartment itself was super clean and well furnished, great shower by the way. Nikola, Jasmina's assistant, showed up on time and was very helpful with helping us getting orientated. Even though the apartment is on the first floor the noise wasn't a problem at all, we all slept like babies. All in all, an excellent experience we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks Jasmina and Nikola and maybe see you soon.
Jasmina's help was fantastic, polite and she was flexible with the check-in/check-out times. The apartment is great, clean, classy and the location is perfect, very central and close to everything! The apartment was provided with everything to make you feel at home, we were even given a temporary mobile with a local number to avoid roaming charges! Very thoughtful and kind! We really felt at home and I would definitely recommend and book Jasmina's apartment in the future whenever I'm in Belgrade again. Thank you Jasmina for being a great host!
I could not say that I had a great time at this property despite its many advantages. I actually left on the fifth day despite having three more nights booked.
The flat is in a very good location and it is very clean and neat but the two bedrooms have too many beds so they feel a bit like a dormitory and there were no blinds on the windows.
The towels and bed sheets were nice and clean and the place is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. However I was very cold as the radiators were on only for limited periods during the day.
I tried to resolve this problem with the hosts but with no success. As house rules state that manipulating the central heating is "strictly forbidden" and the air conditioning controller was removed from the flat, Airbnb customer support suggested I buy an additional electric heater and attempted to negotiate this with the host(s) on my behalf but it was denied. I did offer from the very start to pay extra energy costs but it was explained that the electric installation would not support higher usage.
During the five days I stayed there, the host did not consider it necessary to come and check if anything was wrong with the heating and a consequence I spent a considerable amount of time writing emails, talking to the host and Airbnb. As the situation was not resolved I had to go to the trouble to find another flat. Any refund was flatly denied within minutes of sending the request. I would have been much happier if the hosts had followed up so promptly when I repeatedly expressed my concerns.
I never met the hosts, at the moment I booked there were two of them, Jasmina and Nevenka. I corresponded by email with one and verbally with another. Our communication swung from extremely kind to patronising to the verge of offensive. The check in / out however was carried out by two assistants, brother and sister, both very polite.
I am rather reluctant to write a negative review especially as Belgrade is my hometown and I have full understanding that many households have a problem with the electrical installation. What prompted me to write a negative review is my host’s arrogant and dismissive manner.
In my experience as a host, since winter started virtually all our guests enquired about the temperature in our flats and demanded instructions on how to control the heating . Despite the mild climate we are enjoying in London we never thought that this was an unreasonable request.
very nice and clean apartment. It is quite big, yet cozy at the same time. Everything was provided, clean sheets, towels, some welcome drinks, a local cellphone (a nice surprise), clean kitchen. It is very close to the center, so you can just walk to most of the tourist destination. Nice host.
Only thing missing in the apartment: wine opener ;)
Highly recommended, I wouldn't have to search for any other place next time I will be in Belgrade :)
very spacious clean apt. we extended our stay and the hosts were very personable, kind and flexible. Kitchen quite modern and bedrooms comfortable.
We have had a very nice stay at this app. Some cold starting drinks were provided and the check-in went smooth. The app. itself is spacious and clean. The beds are perfect and the airco works well. The app is also situated on an ideal location in the middle of the center. If we go to Belgrade again I don't have to think about my accomodation ;-)
Nevenka & Jasmina were excellent hosts, everything was perfect!
The Appartement is nice and clean like on the pictures. Jasmina is a very friendly host, always approachable and very helpful. Communication before and during my stay in Belgrade was easy. Due to provider issues the internet connection wasn't stable.
I fully recommend the place. Next time I come to Belgrade, I would gladly return!
Jasmina carried out all the correspondence but never said that the people arriving were her parents.
Till the moment Jasmina's parents arrived, our check-in and check-out policy was "Flexible" because all Airbandb users have been very reasonable and amiable people with whom we have always been accommodating. Jasmina's parents have changed that so now we have a stricter policy.
Jasmina's mother in particular sought to take advantage of "Flexible" by arriving at 3:00am in the morning and departing at 1:00am at the end of her stay demanding not to be charged for either day. We granted her the room upon her arrival because a room was available. We could not grant her a room on the day of her check out because we were running a full house. Despite the fact she only informed us of her intention to keep the room till 1:00am the very day of her check out, when I informed her she could not she threw a tantrum. Like a little kid. All she could do was scream: "Flexible check out, flexible check-out" whilst repeatedly poking her index finger at a print out of her reservation. Granted she could not speak English so that may have been the only expression available to her (Jasmina never told us her parents do not speak English either).
Needles to say, I threw her out of the house and asked her not to come back at the beginning of September as she originally planned on doing.
I suppose we were bound to have a challenging experience at some point. Other than this occurrence however, Airbandb guests to date have been fabulous.
It was a pleasure having Nevenka and Jasmina and the two children in my house. They were very easy to coordinate with in advance of their arrival, and left the house in great condition. I would love to have them visit again!
