We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Cait's. Her assistant, Faith, was there to greet us when we arrived with a warm welcome to Rhinebeck. She had great suggestions for where to go in the area and showed us around the house which is lovely. Felt totally private and the cats are adorable. Will definitely be finding an excuse to escape the city sometime soon and stay here again!
Faith and I loved having you! Hope to meet you next time--Cait
We had a wonder time at this very lovely and very large house. House is very private with beautiful woods all around. Cait was waiting for us when we arrived. Info on the house was clear and house was clean. We all fell in love with Tux :)
We will definitely return.
Wonderful place to spend a weekend visiting the Culinary Institute of America. Close enough to West Point to enjoy an Army football game. The house was clean and the host was warm and inviting. On Army football weekends you will spend the same price on this house with 3 bedrooms that you would spend on one hotel room. Well worth it.
Fantastic house - very comfortable and lovely area
This was a lovely, spacious place with all sorts of happy surprises: the host invites you to use the wine rack and replace the bottles later, for instance, since most wine places close early in the area; and there's a wood stove with a big supply of wood right next to it. More than other airbandbs we've used, there is a flexibility that we really enjoyed - Cait was willing to meet us whenever we arrived, and was great about communicating with us when that arrival time changed.
It's pretty clear in the description already, but cat-sensitive people should know that this is very much a cat-inhabited house, and that the cat in question is around and will want to hang with you. That said, the cleaning is top-notch and only very sensitive cat allergy folks should reconsider.
Oh - and the neighbors proved friendly, too - not always something you can count on in woodsy airbandbs.
Thank you, Adam! We've added even more language about the cat on the listing.
This place is a perfect getaway! So good you want to keep it to yourself.
Great home with plenty of space to relax and read.
Very clean and comfortable.
Cait was a great host. Very prepared with notes throughout the house to answer any questions you may have.
Tuck (the cat) was very friendly and made you feel right at home.
Cannot wait to go back.

The place was lovely, peaceful and very private. Super easy to get to, close to the town. We definitely enjoyed our stay and loved having Tux (the cat) around!!!
This is an awesome house, located conveniently along route 9, in a rural setting, and yet is minutes from the town of Rhinebeck. Our group of 3 adults and one teen just loved staying here and our only regret was that we did not spend enough time at the house due to other obligations (such as attending a wedding….). Cait was the perfect hostess – we arrived very late, way after dark, and not only did Cait wait up for us, but she walked down the long driveway with a handheld electric lantern to welcome us and show us the way. Inside the house, we were also greeted by the resident kitty cat – so cute and in-your-face friendly!. The house itself is just delightful – very clean and comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It was furnished with wonderful pieces and artwork from all over the world and each room has shelves full of books on every subject – something which my scholarly group really appreciated and much to our collective dismay, did not have enough time to partake. Cait kindly left us fresh coffee beans along with milk and cream. We had a choice of using the drip coffee machine or the French press and I am happy to say that we had it both ways. The next time, we come to Rhinebeck, we would definitely stay again. Thank you, Cait!
We absolutely loved staying here! My friends and I all came up for a local beer festival and this house was the perfect solution for us. Cait was incredibly responsive and accommodating, their cat was adorable, the house gorgeous, and no problems at all to speak of. We'll definitely be back! Thanks, Cait!
Cait is a friend and we participate in some community events together and a reading group. I have had the privelege of being a guest in her home and she is a GREAT hostess! A pleasant kind person and a wicked sense of humour. Her house is ideally located in the lovely village of Rhinebeck a very easy walk. I highly reccomend her place easy access, comfortable and in a great neighborhood and the best part is you get to meet Cait!
