Ciao siamo Claudio, Paola e Pietro e gestiamo insieme questa guest house. Ci alterneremo nell'accogliere tutti gli ospiti.
Very nice accommodation, near city centre and station.
Carmelo very kindly picked us up from the station on our arrival and gave us access to main kitchen and bicycles.
Could do with a little better equipment.
Mansarda is great place in a quiet living area of Firenze. Clean, cosy and have everything, you need (the only thing is missing - kettler). To city center 10 minutes by bus. Near you will find supermarkt, post, bust stops. Thank you, guys, for that wonderful place!
A great experience, in a cool and comfortable apartment. Easy to access to the city center by bus, supermarket just a few meters away. Don't hesitate!
The apartment was well equip. Close to public transport. With a nice terrace in a good area. The bikes were very handy to ride around Florence. We had to use of the computer down stairs apartment witch was very handy for our travel arrangements. Reconvened and will stay there if ever back in Florence.
Good rate for an overall decent room. Bit of a distance from the main sights but easy to reach by bus. Bathroom (shared) and bedroom are comfortable enough. Kitchen is handy. Bit of a mosquito problem as evidenced by the many dead mosquitoes and blood smears on the white walls.
Claudio was very nice. The room is in a shared apartment with a shared bathroom, which wasn't clearly stated on the listing. We were surprised to have other people in the space, but it was great to meet new people at the same time. We really liked having a kitchen and good water pressure in the shower. The location is fine, but it's on a busy street that stays very loud at night. Make sure you have ear plugs.
The place is well equipped and perfect for couples. The staff was friendly and they even offered us bikes for the way to the center, which is 15 minutes walking distance (bus or taxi are a good option as well). The terrace must be especially enjoyable on summer!
We did not meet Claudio but we were always able to contact him and get a quick response. He gave us very good directions using the public bus and we got there with no issues. The B&B is not in downtown Florence but a quick bus ride into town. It is also located next to a supermarket in case you need anything and has a full kitchen to store and cook food. The room is large and more rustic than modern, being that it is in an older Italian villa. There is no wifi but a computer room with fast internet. We did come across a bit of mosquitoes which may be a seasonal or Italian problem. The noise from the street below can keep light sleepers awake so I recommend a good pair of ear plugs. Lastly, the bathtub did not have a shower curtain or a shower door, so water falls out and the wet floor can be problematic. It is a good, safe place for a short visit, and with a few tweaks, it could be a great place to stay.
The room is a bargin for the size and spaciousness of the guest room. Our room was clean, bright, and airy. It was easy to find, and a five minute bus ride to the center. There was a kitchen if you wanted to cook, or store food in the frig. A great supermarket around the corner. I would definitely would recommend this guest house to my friends!
We were happy to stay here. Wonderful balcony. Very close there is a delicious family restaurant pizzeria, bus stop, supermarket. 15 minutes walk to the city center. Highly recommended. Thank you Claudio!
