All this place needs is a good bed and nice towels! The location is great - right off Waikiki beach and within walking distance to everything. Make sure you bring ear plugs though, b/c you'll be able to hear everything outside as well as the creaky bed that makes noise every time you move. The appliances work just fine - I recommend checking the fridge upon your arrival to make sure it's on or else you'll end up with a pool of water on the ground. If you're inconvenienced by anything associated with the condo, don't plan on being compensated by the owner but at least he responds to emails and texts! If you want special treatment, go to a hotel.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the place for 4 nights. When we got there the code did not work, I called Josh and he answered right away. The location of the place is awesome, we found free parking on the street behind the zoo. We did laundry and one of the machines ate our money, the front desk basically told us too bad so sad, call this number for a refund. The wifi wasn't working in the room but it did work in the lobby and laundry room. Overall, the place is super convenient.
Joshua's place was outstanding! Small BUT very clean and comfortable!
It in downtown Waikiki and has a great parking situation!
It was close to all I needed to do!
I would recommend this place to anyone!
Check in was a breeze. The room was clean and well-stocked with towels and dishes. The appliances are very nice, even if you'll probably only use them for reheating leftovers. Didn't turn on the TV BECAUSE I WAS IN HAWAII. The Wifi is slow but enough to check email before TURNING OFF THE COMPUTER AND GOING TO THE BEACH! Great location, truly one block from the best beaches in Waikiki. One major drawback: noise. The room faces the Queen Kapiolani hotel loading dock and the noise was almost deafening in the morning starting around 8am. Good motivation to get up and go to the beach, I suppose. All told, a good value and well-maintained.
Location is very good. The host provides useful devises like beach chair under the bed.
Although I could not reflect some problems to the host, the housekeeper was so nice to solve my problems immediately.
In sum, it's worth to rent this condo again!
A good plays to stay, nice location near to waikiki beach. Everything you need is in the room. Some small issues:
The room wasn't that clean, a lot of hair on the ground. And the bed was like you're laying in a ditch.
But we've enjoyed it! Thanks a lot!
The Waikiki Condo is in a great location- within the Waikiki Grand, it is walking distance to all the best parts of Waikiki (plus you're just outside the terrible traffic of Waikiki and all the busses you'll ever need are right there). Walk to a great snorkeling spot between the groin and the aquarium, swim at Kaimana by the natatorium, eat the best Udon ever at Murakame, and Hulas bar and lei stand on the 2nd floor of the Waikiki Grand has delicious tropicals and sunset views.
The condo is small and the street noise can be loud, but we just closed the windows at night and it was fine. The bed was very squeaky! Every tiny movement could be heard loud and clear. Even so, the bed was quite comfortable and we slept very well. And hidden underneath were boogie boards and beach chairs!
The Waikiki Grand is a great older building with beautiful views of Diamond Head and sunset from the tenth floor roof-top lanai. The residents of the building were very friendly and engaged us in interesting conversation. We had a wonderfully relaxing time.
This condo was great value for money; excellent location less than 1 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops/restaurants close by. The free parking close by also saved us a heap of money and the beach mats, chairs and body boards were also very handy!
easy check in to have electronic key and not have to arrange a meeting with the owner. The apartment is well located for walking manekarse x throughout downtown Honolulu
The apartment is super small and not in the best condition. the bathroom is quite old without much maintenance. the mattress should change is very bad and brought us back pain.
not comfortable for sleeping. Wifi never works, the signal is very weak. you can park free in the park a few blocks away. the area is a bit noisy, and the department does not have good windows or curtains good then a lot of light and noise all morning. not sleep much. we liked the apartment. only highlight the good location
Joshua Kim. Thank you for the days we were in Honolulu. Nice location and great bay.
