First, Antonio rules because we had delay (thanks to shuttle bus) and he met us at the station Termini to give us the keys!
The place is good, Warm, big bed. The shower head doesn't work well but it's a detail.
Thanks again to Antonio!
Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the 5 days in Rome and the time we spend in Antonios apartment. It was a clean and big room with lots of closets where you can put your belongings in. We were so busy visiting all the places that we met Antonio only once when we arrived. He is a really nice guy and well prepared for guests (you'll get towels, city guides and even a folder with the important information about good restaurants in the neighborhood, wifi password..).
The bathroom is small but clean (Antonio even cleaned it extra when we arrived), we didn't had time to use the kitchen but we got some space in the fridge where we could put some stuff in.
All in all it was a nice stay and we would definitely stay there again. The biggest advantage is that the metro station is only 5 minutes walking away from the apartment so that you can get "home" very fast after a long day discovering Rome.
Antonio was very helpful and the bedroom is big and the bed comfortable but the noise levels are high as expected in a big city. He needs to lubricate the door hinges in the flat and make sure the bulbs are working and put toolet psper in the loo. His flat is a few mins from the metro so handy for the city.
Antonio was great! The apartment cozy and the bedroom was basic but comfortable. We loved the area, as it was just a 15 minute walk to the Metro and easy to get from the apartment to the center of Rome. There's a lot of cool random commerce in this area too, and we got to speak with a lot of locals and make friends in the restaurants and corner stores. Getting to and from the airport was a little bit more difficult but certainly not impossible! We didn't see Antonio too much because he works hard, but he was super pleasant when we did speak with him! I would recommend this apartment to anyone who needs simple living comforts and wants to stay in a part of Rome that is less overrun by tourists but in easy proximity to every major site you could think of!
Great place, big room, bright, warm, big mirror, cupboards. Antonio is very helpful, his English is really good, he gave us information and a printed metro map, also instructions for night buses and things around the area. There is a supermarket and loads of little shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants nearby. The metro is very close. The kitchen is very handy.
We had a very good time in Rome and it was great to have a place.
Of course we have to review the one night we came BACK to Antonio's to stay, before we flew out of Rome! Still just as great, still just as comfortable!
We had a good time staying at this place. Antonio was very nice and helpful. He lent us some guides and maps. The room was clean, really big, and comfortable. The ride to the center took around 15 minutes overall. The location is peaceful and there are plenty of markets and small caffeterias around the place. We highly recommend this place!
Antonio was very kind to welcome us at 1am (our train was cancelled because of the flood & a suicide (!!!)) The room is big although the photos were quite misleading (it looked more modern and neat on the pictures). We were given one small towel each as well as a guide in French, which was nice. However, the (small) bathroom was constantly flooded (by the shower water) and we had no shower mat (very annoying...). We were allowed to use the kitchen but it was quite dirty, dishes piling up in the sink. Also Antonio didn't try to engage with us at all, nor did he give us advice on what to see (we did get a little folder with useful info about the neighborhood and utilities etc.) All in all an acceptable host who will provide minimal service (eg he was seldom home and when we ran out of toilet paper we had to make do without it for 2 days!!)
The place was ok and clean, friendly guy, explained the questions we had friendly and good. There was everything in the house what is needed. Kitchen with everything needed. Bathroom ok. Sleepingroom ok, only that the room we had, had a harmonica door what gives you little privacy. The other room had a normal door. The neighbourhood was fine with good cheap and good less cheap restaurants. And all kinds of shops. Good transport facilities to everywhere.
