It was a perfect place for staying in Hong Kong. It was easily accessable by bus from the airport and close to Central. Nearby MTR took us any place of the city but we just walked. I recommend the flat strongly to those who do not spend money for sleeping. Despite of the price the flat was confortable also.
Great host.I love the flat that you arrange to me and my girlfriend so much. And we have great experience. Thanks.
Danni & Alan are solid hosts. I only needed the place for a night during a short stopover in Hong Kong but they were accommodating, communicative, and helpful. Getting into the flat was a quick and easy, the place is simple, spacious, and clean, and it's not too far from the MTR line. Nice, convenient little spot in Sheung Wan.
The reservation was canceled 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Great hosts. Everything very simple and easy. The studio is no frills and basic but that's what you pay for! Great location, quiet studio. Good value
The communication wasn't great at the start, I requested the hosts give me the address info so I could add it to my trip planning, needlessly to say they finally replied a few days before my booking. The neighborhood is good, located by Connaught Garden (take bus A10/A12) to the apt, $40-50 HKD, around 40-50 mins. The place is secure to a point, be mindful of other occupants.
The apartment is pretty barebones, only your really basic necessities.
The apt came with a fridge, 1 towel set, 1 lamp, 1 desk, bedding, and 1 roll of toliet paper. I requested for more towels and was met with certain resistance from the host and also more toliet paper for my longer-term stay.
They did provide me with these basic items in a timely fashion.
I had to purchase a surge bar to get my electronics to work with their outlet setup. They only have 2 outlets, one is hooked to a surge bar which didn't allow for my int'l adapters to function and the other one is for the fridge.
The apt is very transit friendly, you have many options to get to where you need to go. The tram, bus, express buses all stop near the apt. The food options are great as well.
The bathroom was clean, but later on I noticed black flies which I also encountered at my own apt in South Korea. This is due to the sewage drain not being sterile and growth building.
I encountered MAJOR noise issues from the neighbors across the hall and above the apt. There was loud talking, water rushing sounds, slamming doors. Keep in mind the walls are paper thin.
This property is located at the heart of the dry seafood stores. Very convenient if you are stocking up for Chinese New Year goodies or buying for old folks as a gift.
We really love the shower because it is hotter than any hotels!
At night, it is very quiet with no disturbance. Plus, you have 7-Eleven just round the corner and StarBucks to accompany you.
Easy to find, this room was exactly as advertised. Very functional, average sized for Hong Kong, and in a great location. Tram almost right in front of the building, and very close to the soon-to-be-opened Sai Ying Pun station. Good wi-fi, a small fridge, a small desk, and very cold A/C. The only other comment is that the hot water does tend to run out rather quickly (5 minutes) so no possibility of long showers. However, overall a very good value for the money. Would stay again.
Danni & Alan were in time with the keys. Also, they give us quick response
