Nice and welcoming host and the place is as advertised. Really close to a subway stop. Interesting neighborhood with several restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store nearby. I stayed here for a week.
Overall Daniel's place is fine, I feel obligated to note that anyone considering a stay here should be familiar with the area, specifically that east of Main in downtown LA. There is a lot of homelessness. Also, guest should note that parking for the building is about two blocks away and through a relatively dark area. I believe there is a shuttle but if feels strange to take a shuttle two blocks, at the same time, there's clearly a need considering the area.
Additionally, potential guest should know that the apartment's large windows face Los Angeles street, which has heavy traffic from pedestrians, cars, garbage trucks, and emergency vehicles, i.e there is constant noise throughout the day and night. Light sleepers will be bothered as the street is lined with relatively tall concrete buildings that don't let sound out.
Having said that, the complex is nice, it's actually several buildings that enclose a court that has restaurants, a market, a very nice coffee shop and some seating area. The gym was nice, there are amenities, e.g. basketball court, on the roof. Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to deck repairs the week I stayed.
Daniel was very responsive to my communications, unfortunately, the previous guest had misplace, or possibly taken, the remotes to both the TV and AppleTV. Daniel made an effort to replace them, but it was unrealistic to do so in the time I was there.
The apartment could be good for groups, but again, anyone staying alone should be well aware of the area.
This is a lovely, large studio apartment built in an old factory building right in the heart of the Fashion District in downtown LA. The memory foam mattress on the bed was extremely comfortable, and even though it is on a busy street, it is equipped with double paned windows that keep the city racket to a minimum. The owner was responsive and timely with key exchange and information. There are coffee pots and minimal cooking utensils, so it's easy to whip up a breakfast before heading out to the many trendy restaurants and pubs within walking distance. All and all a good experience.
The place was great and Daniel was always available to help if anything went wrong.
This was an amazing apartment and it was exactly as advertised. The space is large and well-equiped. It has a funky minimalist sort of design and the building felt extremely safe. Not really in the best neighborhood around town (i.e. no real grocery stores close by and lots of homeless people) but other than that, the building was excellent and the apartment was really great. It was very clean and Daniel was very responsive in dealing with any issues or questions I had. There's a parking lot right behind the space which is pretty convenient and it's pretty close to a couple of highways so you can get around pretty easily. Overall, a really great apartment and a great stay.
The apartment was perfect!
A sparse and simple pad located in a busy part of Echo Park, close to good bars and restaurants.
All Ok. You can come back when you want!
Daniel was an easygoing, reliable and communicative guest. He left the place in immaculate condition, I highly recommend him and would happily have him back!

Daniel was a wonderful guest. He was respectful of the neighbors, left the flat clean and in good order and was very good about communicating. I would absolutely have him as a guest again.
Ill have him over again
Dan is a great guy. He’s clean, respectful, and always on time. He's a busy man and I've known and worked with him for about 8 years now. I would recommend Dan to other Airbnb members because he would be the ideal tenant. He's well-traveled, well mannered, and just an all-around good person.
