I live in Rome Italy with my son and my pets, I adore restoring old properties and making them into places that I would like to stay myself, comfortable couches, and places to relax when you come back exhausted from sight seeing or beaches !
My girlfriend and me enjoyed very much our stay! It's a nice, clean and small room very close to Vatican Museum! A realy nice owner and the lovely cats mad our stay just perfect! Thank you very much, we will be back some day!
Very good place as a base for sightseeing. Room was nice and clean. Fine balcony for having a breakfast. Michaela and Nicholas were kind and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay.
We spent 4 night at Michaela place and we had really nice time. The flat is very close to Vatican and metro station is nearby. Our room was clean and her son was nice. I definitely recommend this place.
We had a wonderful stay in Michaela's apartment. It is a truly beautiful place, close to the Vatican (email hidden)ly area. The bedroom was big, open and clean with a really comfortable double bed. Michaela was very welcoming and friendly allowing us to drop our bags off in the morning (before check in). Michaela went to London just after we arrived so we were happy we got a chance to meet her before she left. Her son Nicholas made sure we felt at home and welcome during our stay, he was a very friendly host and we appreciated this. We would highly recommend staying here, thanks for a great stay.
all as descriebed. I'd recommend it to anyone who accepts what's written in description. Thanks!
We stayed in Michaela’s apartment in Rome for 5 days in May, and we had a very wonderful time. Location of the apartment is very comfortable, it's a 10-minute walk from the Vatican and about 30 minutes walk to the center. Michaela at this moment was not in town, but her son Nicholas was care about us, was very kind and responsive, and we had everything we need. The apartment is very comfortable, the room is not so big, but there is a large and comfortable bed, there is a closet where you can put some clothes there and very comfortable. I strongly advise you to stay here, and I hope that you will spend the same wonderful time in Rome as we do.
We loved staying at Michaela's place which had everything we needed. The apartment has a comfy bed and is very clean. The location is great and easy to get to. Michaela was always quick and helpful in her responses too! We will definitely stay again when back in London.
Michaela is amazing! We stayed at her place in Rome for 7 days and we are glad we did so. She was very welcoming even when we arrived late after midnight.
The room is small, but cosy, clean and lightful and the bed is comfy. We could also use the living room and the balcony for breakfast and nice chats with Michaela and her son. So, it was kind of a flat share feeling having a cigarette and a coffee together with them. They are both very open minded and interested. We won't forget this wonderful time in Rome, especially Michaela's and her son's birthday party. And hell do they know, how to party.
Response from Michaela Penelope:
Thanks kira, it was a pleasure having you both, hope to see you again one day!x x x
I've been guest at Micaela's house with my boyfriend for five days. We have had a great time! the room, even if not so big, was perfect for us and the bed comfortable and clean. Micaela and her son are nice and friendly. The house is also in a good position, 10 minutes walking from Musei Vaticani and 5 minutes from the metro Cipro.
I'd totally advice to stay at Micaela's!
Nicholas was a fine guest, I can recommend him.
I have known Michaela for about five years and I really can assure, as I was her guest for three times, that she's an excellent host, always enquiring about how to improve things to make her guest more comfortable.
I also have to say that I'll never start my host rule with Airbnb without her support in buying the apartment first, restructuring it and then assess for renting.
Thank you Michaela !
I've known Michaela for over eight years - we both have houses in the same small historic town in central Italy - Fondi. I would wholeheartedly recommend her as an Airbnb host - she's thoughtful, generous and efficient, and she really does care about the comfort and satisfaction of her guests. She's also a very talented homemaker - all the flats she's restored are welcoming, well-equipped and a delight to stay in. I should know. I've stayed in them!
