I've been in Seattle since 2002. Like a lot of people in the city, I'm a transplant. Kind of. I grew up a couple hours east of Seattle, but it might as well have been the dark side of the moon. Needless to say, I was quite happy to see my little town in the rear view mirror.
Now I work in advertising, hang out with my friends -- a stone cold pack of (lovable) weirdos, ad folk and pin ups -- and try to find new ways to flex my creativitus maximus.
I travel quite a bit when duty allows. And even sometimes when it doesn't. While abroad, I try to eat, drink and play like a local. And I make a point of learning at least one random phrase to whip out at cocktail parties back home.
