We are an easy going couple in our late twenties who have moved to Cabo San Lucas for work (I'm Australian and Michael is from Costa Rica). During the week I work with my Spanish school (Spanish In Cabo) in exchange for my tuition fees, plus I am a whale watching guide with Whale Watch Cabo when the season is on. My aim is to learn Spanish pronto so that I can work in my field (environmental science) in Baja. So learning Spanish is my number one priority for the moment, but I like to get outside too so getting out a searching for whales is a lot of fun too.
Michael (pronounced Mikhail, or Miha), is a scuba diving instructor on The Valentina liveaboard that goes to the Socorro Islands and the Sea of Cortez for 5-10 day trips at a time (so if you like to dive we can recommend to you where to go locally and around Baja). He's mad about sharks and going as deep as possible (he's a Tech 50 diver = a lunatic!). He works a lot and sleeps a lot. Loves to eat anything except fish (go figure for a diver), went to school in Kansas City and Halifax, loves a good beer and a good read (usually fantasy or war history).
We are both pretty well traveled and enjoy a good story. We both do what we love and love what we do (mostly). We're into all sorts of music, movies, sports, games, trivia - Whatever really. Neither of us have ever been a guest on AirBNB, but we use to host people at our house in Playas del Coco in Costa Rica and we've never had a bad experience. So far since starting up AirBNB in Cabo that trend has continued and I'm happy to state that every guest has left as a friend. We enjoy hosting people who are kind, friendly, open minded and respectful.
Feel free to shoot me though any questions or enquiries. I'm more than happy to help.
Jess & Miha.
P.S. Some of our guests have been kindly leaving us stickers and fridge magnets for us to mark their visit. You're more than welcome to add your country/state/company/slogan to our fridge too. It's becoming a little work of international art and we really like it :)
