We are an easy going couple in our late twenties who have moved to Cabo San Lucas for work. I'm from Sydney, Australia and Michael (nickname is Miha, pronounced like mee-ha) is from Guanacaste, Costa Rica. At the moment we are based between La Paz and Cabo due to Michael's work, but once his liveaboard scuba dive boat moves back to San Jose del Cabo we'll be back in Cabo full time (around November). Most of the time you will interact with me and sometimes Miha when he's off the boat. Other times you'll interact with our local mates who help us to manage our AirBNB listings (Laura, Felipe, Bianca, Mao, Alan...). Either way it's good fun and we've received great reviewed no matter who's in the house.

A little about me: I am an ecologist by trade so during the week I help to manage a few local research projects (right now I'm working with some Cabo Pulmo turtle data). I am continuously studying and working with my Spanish school that's based here in Cabo to improve my language skills and to help improve their business. Plus, when the whales are in town I become a whale watching guide lead tours around Cabo and Baja. All this combined with AirBNB keeps me fairly busy. I also love the outdoors and exploring the different beaches and mountains. It's a very diverse state so I am very content here, but of course I love travelling too and hearing about other people's adventures.

Miha (if you haven't guessed), is a scuba diving instructor on 'The Valentina' liveaboard that goes to the Socorro Islands and the Sea of Cortez for 5-10 day trips at a time (so if you like to dive we can recommend to you where to go locally and around Baja). The diving around Socorro is the best diving he's ever done and he's contracted to complete the next season, then our plan is to hopefully get to Australia. He's mad about sharks and going as deep as possible (he's a Tech 50 diver = a lunatic!). He works a lot and sleeps a lot. Loves to eat anything except fish (go figure for a diver); went to school in Kansas City and Halifax (so he is truly bilingual); loves a good beer and a good read (usually fantasy or war history). His schedule now is extremely busy as he's on the boat most of the time. But when he's around he's a character.

Both Miha and I are both pretty well traveled and enjoy a good story. We try to do what we love and love what we do. We live minimally and we try to have less of an impact on the environment. We're into all sorts of music, movies, sports, games, trivia - Whatever really. Neither of us have ever been a guest on AirBNB, but we use to host people at our house in Playas del Coco in Costa Rica and we've never had a bad experience. So far since starting up AirBNB in Cabo that trend has continued and we're happy to state that every guest has left as a friend.

Feel free to shoot me though any questions or enquiries. I'm more than happy to help. And if Miha and I are away or unable to answer you (I may be in the field), then our friends Felipe and Laura will.

Cheers,
Jess & Miha.
