My husband, Geoffrey Power, and I are a retired couple; he from civil service, an engineer, and me from subsidized housing for low income seniors.
We are family people with many children, grandchildren, and long time friends: all of whom would gladly attest to our responsible natures.
We are homeowners who enjoy spending time both inside and out tending to and beautifying our surroundings. We are avid gardeners, cooks, readers and travelers. We enjoy camping and also visiting urban areas. Living near San Francisco, we recently spent a few days there visiting museums and the wonderful Golden Gate Park. My husband was born and raised in San Francisco. We have been residents of Sonoma County for most of our adult lives.
A daughter recently told us about airbnb, thinking it would be a good way for us to travel and it does, indeed, look good.
We journey to Port Townsend, Wa to visit friends there and stay in their cabin where we enjoy the mix of town and quiet time by the water. We enjoy walking.
We are quiet and tidy, respectful of space, ours and others, creative and adventurous. We met late in life, our fourth anniversary is in September, and we have enjoyed melding our families, retiring, and traveling together.
