My name's Jem and I'm a PhD student studying Organizational Behavior at Claremont Graduate University. I love traveling, meeting new people, trying new things, going on adventures! I thirst for life, and I'm always trying to mix in mini-escapades with my school demands. I just moved from Boston out to California and I adore it here! The people are fabulous and friendly, and there's so much to see and do.

Ultimately, when finances are more readily available, I'd love to expand my horizons and visit other countries. I've visited Japan twice, but that's about it for my international experiences.

Five things I can't live without: music, my hula hoop, friendly companions, doctor who, and my phone in order to stay in contact with the people i meet and record my memories through photographs.

My favorite location as of yet is still Boston. I fell in love with that city while I attended college there and I feel as though a part of my heart still resides on the Esplanade or in Allston.

I'm a huge Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Breaking Bad nerd (you should see my bumper stickers). I'm really into any kind of music that can get me grooving. And I love food. All food. Other than seafood and fish. I just can't eat it.

I normally travel with boyfriend, who's a 23 year old musician/producer/dj going back to school for anthropology. We're a pretty balanced, respectful, and interesting pairing, and we'll be sure to provide you with engaging discourse if that's what you're into!

My life motto is just to try to feel alive in every aspect of your life. I want to experience everything all at once and my desire for adventure will never run out!
