I had a wonderful experience at B&B128Roma. Gianluca was an incredible host. I had originally told Gianluca that I would be on site at a certain time, though I was delayed at the airport. Gianluca was very patient, kind, considerate and understanding. He waited for me to arrive and was most helpful. The place was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also very clean, and came equipped with a selection of towels. Gianluca also had a wide selection of Italian cookies, crackers and other snacks, as well as teas and coffees. He made it clear that I was to help myself, as it was a priority to make me feel right at home. The location is amazing - just a few minutes away from Termini Station. I strongly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Rome and in fact, am already planning my next stay there!
This host was super nice. He gave us lots of good recommendations. The apartment was clean and a good value. He had lots of cereals, yogurts, snacks available to eat whenever you might want which was helpful when you wanted to get up and start seeing the sights early and didn't have time to find breakfast somewhere. The AC worked really well and the room was spacious.
What a wonderful stay we had at Gianluca's place! My husband and I were taking a tour of Italy with a travel group and decided to go a few days early to explore on our own. We decided to stay here because it was close to Termini Central, it was 1 block over and 4 blocks down. It was in a great location and easy to get to!
Checking in was simple and we were shown how to use the keys, we were told we could use and eat what was provided in the communal kitchen, etc. They made us feel very welcome. The other guests staying in the other rooms were very nice and we did not hear them during the night.
Our room was very clean and the air conditioning was wonderful since each room could run their own temperature. The bathroom was clean too and had its own water tank for hot water. The only problem we had was that my husband had a difficult time in the shower (he's 6'3 and I'm 5'4). The showers in Italy seem to be made for shorter people, lol. One other suggestion I have is to bring earplugs. In the early morning there were workers loading trucks which might bother light sleepers. This did not bother me since I hear this kind of stuff here at home.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend Gianluca's place to any of my friends who want to go to Rome. Great location, clean and quiet rooms, friendly people, and great price...what more could a person want?!?
This was a lovely BnB. I was expecting a lot less for the price I paid and was pleasantly surprised to find it clean, spacious, and including amenities like free wi-fi, cable, and an open pantry.
Gianluca is a good host.He provides a nice apartment and free snacks.
We both love the room. The most important thing is he allowed us put the luggage in the room after check-out,many thanks for him.
The appartment was about a 7 minute walk from the station. Gianluca met up with us to hand us the keys and explained everything about the appartment and even told us some tips and recommendations for visiting the city. But after the check-in process, we did not see him again. The London room was decently sized and the bed was big enough for the three of us. Everything was clean, tidy and equipped. The fridge and shelves were stocked with food and drinks that were all for us to consume. Getting round the attractions was pretty easy with the metro (which is only a few minutes walk away). This was an amazing stay and we thank Gianluca so much for his hospitality and friendliness!
Lovely place close to the main train station which makes travelling to the touristy locations very convenient. Very well stocked kitchen to cater to needs.
Gianluca has an amazing place to stay in Roma! Very close to the train station and a nice central location for walking to the heart of Roma. The room and bathroom were very clean and were above our expectations! The breakfast food was a nice convenience in the mornings. Gianluca stops by now and then and is wonderful to talk with. Our stay was amazing and would highly recommend Gianluca to anyone wishing to stay in Roma.
Gianluca was a great host! There were some issues with the Internet initially but he did everything he could to solve the problem. Loved the well furnished room too! Overall it was awesome.
Gianluca was great. Waiting for us when we arrived. Offered us great information & more than willing to spend time to answer all questions about anything Rome. Room as advertised. Big & clean. Good shower. Diverse multicultural neighborhood. Safe & easy walk to Coliseum or beyond. Best is less than 5 min. walk to Termini if you need to get there early.
