I enjoy hosting guest in my lovely home and spreading the word about our wonderful little town (website hidden)
Sharon is very kind and warm: the consummate hostess. The house is within easy walking distance of all the best Berkley Springs tourist attractions. The room was clean, and the (brand new!) bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Sharon was great at communicating- we had all of our questions answered. She wasn't there when we stayed there, but she promised her friend would be there with the key and he was. The house was private and we felt safe.
Lovely home. And so close to town. Don't forget to go to the $2 yoga class in the mornings at the Renaissance Spa. AWESOME!
Ms. Reis was both charming and welcoming during my short stay with her.
I recently stayed at Shamaine's place for a relatively extended time between leases. She was easy-going and extremely accommodating. The apartment is centrally-located in Old Town and has a great view of the Potomac river. I'd recommend this option for anyone.
shamaine was very nice and accommodating. the room was spacious and had a great view of the sunrise. she has a friendly hairless cat. i'm not a super cat person so i really appreciated that the cat was tucked away when i was sleeping. great location in a nice quiet neighbourhood.
This place is across the Potomac from National Harbor Resort area and just outside the town of Alexandria. Easy walk to NH was 1 hour or so. Also, 12 short blocks to King Street in Alexandria. Shamaine was very nice and properly gave me my space, as I was on business matters. There are very nice walking, running or biking trails just behind the place. I felt very safe and secure and parked my car in the close lot. The one person room was clean but also (website hidden) unit in window for night. This place is perfect for a single traveler with a car on business.
Shamaine is a really cool person and a lot of fun to hang out with. You will like staying in her place. It's right on the Mt Vernon trail, which is one of the best biking/walking trails in the area and there are beautiful views of the Potomac and the city. If you want to be close in to the city but still enjoy nature, this is the place for you!
Shamaine is an interesting person, enjoy meeting a diversity of people and knows how to be a good host. She has a beautiful place overlooking to Potomac river, walking distance to charming Old Town Alexandria, and just few minutes from Washington, DC
