The day we arrived Yasmine was not in town so she arranged for us to get the key with one of her friend. He was on time and everything went smooth. The apartment is much smaller than it looks on the pics,. You won't find a proper cosy space to relax apart from the bed as the "living-room" area is very.. let's say.. minimalist. The bedroom and bathroom are on the 1st floor, but be aware that the toilet is downstairs next to the flat entrance (not really convenient especially at night..). The apartment was not very clean - we found a few spider's webs when we arrived, and the sink in the bathroom was leaking. The location is super nice (unfortunately there was some road works when we were there, Oct 2013, so most of the Tram line where not passing by), but it gives you the opportunity to explore the city and walk around! The overall experience was a bit deceiving especially that we were expecting much better for more than 180dollars per night. This was definitely not the best Airbnb experience we had and will not contact Yasmine again for our next trip :(.
The apartment is in a great central location. Communication with Yasmine was easy and she arranged for a friend to welcome us into the apartment.
Apartment was simple and clean as in the pictures.
I left in Yastmene's apartments in September. It's a nice place. It is situated in Leidseplain, near different shops (H &M), coffee shops (Buldog) and just cafe Sturbucks. Also near place wok to walk. Where you can eat noodles and take away. 3- minutes walk to tram station (number 2,5,1 go to Central Station and Dam square). 5-10 minutes walk to Van Gogh museum, museum and product shop "Albert Heijn". You can easy go to same interesting places. What about apartment? Apartment is the same like photo. It's very light, clear with all accommodations: plates, spoon, knife, teapot and other, 24/7 hot water, big bed, clean towels. Big plus is big balcony with beautiful flowers and trees (good place where you can drink beer). Same minus: didn't work Internet (same temporary problem. I hope know it's work) and non coffee machine. Price for apartment equal her location and accommodation. I recommend to all of you.
Yasmine is grate hostess. Welcome!!!
Yasmine was a great host. Communication went very smooth before and during our stay. Although we could not meet her, she arranged everything for our coming.
The apartment is exactly as on pics. It is really nice and comfy. We did enjoy the terrace.
We had a wonderful stay and would come back without hesitation.
The apartment is cute and so central. It was perfect for us! We really enjoyed it! Yasmine was also very flexible. Our return flight was in the evening and she allowed us to stay till the afternoon, while normally we were supposed to leave the apartment in the morning. this was really appreciated!
Yasmine's house is very lovely, central located perfect for especially couples. Its near to all public transportation and easy to walk Dam, Red Light etc. We couldn't meet with Yasmine but she organized well so we easly get the keys from her friend. Next time I will definitely choose this house again.
Yasmine's apartment was perfect for our stay in Amsterdam and centrally located to Leidseplein Square. There was plenty of room for two people. She also was very helpful in recommending various nearby restaurants. Thanks for all your help!
Yasmine's apartment is light and airy with lots of space. The location is very convenient (one bus from airport to your front door!) and with the exception of a few hours on a saturday night it is very quiet. the outside area is particularly nice and a great place to relax with a glass of wine. the style and decor of the apartment is hip and minimalist without clutter which makes for comfortable staying. However the minimalism extends to the kitchen too which makes preparing a meal quite difficult. If you like 600 thread count linen and a bit of Laura Ashley this is not the place for you, but if you read Wallpaper and own a futon then this apartment is a great stay and good value for money.
Yasmine is a wonderful host and has an amazing place!
Her warm welcome made us feel right at home.
Me and my husband stayed 5 nights at her gorgeous home and enjoyed every moment!
Despite the very cold Amsterdam weather the house was always warm with great hot water in the shower.
The house was very clean and Yasmine left all basic Dutch groceries to get us starting (like milk, butter and beers :))
Also Yasmine’s great kitchen started us cooking :)
The location is great - with the best nightlife in Amsterdam (one minute from Leidseplein square).
We are definitely coming again next stay in Amsterdam!
