Marie was very accommodating of our arrival and departure.
We felt more than welcome when she pre-approved our stay which excited us even more.
The place was spotless when we arrived and it was as cozy as a house of our own (as the title suggests).
There was heating which kept us warm in Montreal's bitter winter.
Might I add that Marie prepares you for arrival with maps and some great restaurant recommendations that were all very useful to us.
We would definitely visit this place again because the location was close to downtown and Marie made us feel very comfortable. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Montreal with friends or family.
Marie and Pascal were welcoming and eager to exchange stories about traveling. They offered a room they rent to students in an adjacent apartment. It was a last minute booking and we got a cheap value. The room lacked some privacy but they warned us in advance. The neighborhood is lively, close to the subway and with easy free street parking.

My group of seven university or graduated university friends and I stayed here for new years eve. We were very pleased with the overall condition of the apartment, as it was very modern, clean and spacious. We had a great time in Montreal.
For future tenants, I also suggest that you enjoy this cozy place as much as you can because you will miss the apartment when you go back home!
The hosts dealt with our group in a very nice way and our stay was very comfortable. The heat is adjustable as well, which was very appreciated during the cold days in Montreal.
This is a lovely little spot in about 30 mins by foot and transit into the heart of downtown Montreal. The hosts were most ingratiating, ensuring that everything was organized and ready for our arrival. Street parking was free which reduced the cost of having two cars in the city centre.
Free wifi allowed us to keep in touch with family and friends.
The local area of Verdun had a couple of nice little restaurants which were included in an exhaustive file with all the needed information to ensure a easy and pleasant stay.
Thanks a million to our hosts and I would recommend this to all.
We had a great time connecting w Pascal and Marie and their dog Gypsy in their home. They welcomed us into their home w warm hearts and an ice cold beers. The room was comfortable and their home tastefully renovated as seen in the photographs on the site. We ended up feeling like we stayed w friends - and definitely highly recommend staying w them.
Marie and Pascal were such wonderful hosts. They welcomed me and my friends in, we hung out, sat down and shared wine laughs and good discussion. They helped me practice French and were very patient. Their home is so wonderful and such a beautiful space, in a great neighbourhood.
It was my first AirBnB experience and will most certainly not be my last.
Thanks so much guys. It was a wonderful time.
This is the first time we visited Montreal and I was assigned to look for place to stay. I was so scared coz i dont want to disappoint my family..and i am so glad that i found Marie and Pascal's place..it is very nice place, very clean and most of it..they are very nice..they made sure that everything is ok and they made sure that we can reach them and make sure that we can be as comfortable as can be. And we accidentally left an item in their house, not even knowing it and they are so honest and let us know that we left it in their house and they are very willing to send it to us. Thank you so much!!
We were Marie and Pascal's first Airbnb guests, but from their welcoming, you'd think they were seasoned pro's. From the moment we walked in the door we were created with open arms!
Communication with them was a breeze. They were prompt to respond to my message, and even pre-approved our stay! When we arrived, they had our bedroom all prepared for us - along with clean towels, and a welcome note which included their WiFi password, should we forget it.
Quickly after we arrived they ushered us into their beautiful kitchen that Pascal had just refurbished, for a selection of local Canadian beers! How kind (and delicious)! They told us about how they left Canada for two years to travel through South America, leaving everything behind for the open road, living out of a pickup truck, and getting into wild, Kerouac-esque adventures! It's also on the road that they picked up a local canine hitchhiker - appropriately dubbed 'Gypsy' - who's now a happy Quebecois pup and guardian of the home.
The next day Marie took us to Fairmont Bagels for breakfast and insisted we ordered the smoked salmon with cream cheese. She was right, it's not to be missed!
On the whole we felt that their love for travel, relaxed yet vivacious outlook on life, and kind hearts made them great Airbnb hosts. Their home is clean, the neighborhood is easily accessible, and was a great value!
They were great on their first go, and I'm sure will become even more amazing over time. I'd highly recommend staying with them while in Montreal!
