Sophie's flat is truly perfect for a solo traveler, or a low-maintenance couple. Rue de Verneuil is absolutely lovely, and the flat, location, atmosphere all really embodied the romantic Left Bank. Because Sophie was (necessarily) out of town, I picked up my keys from a local bakery, which worked out just fine, but caused a little initial anxiety. It also got extraordinarily hot on the upper level where the bed is, but that's really just because I stayed during an extraordinary heat wave. Overall, really wonderful.
Sophie was extremely helpful and friendly in helping arrange my arrival. The apartment is small, but space is used very well. Perfect location for where I needed to be in town. The fridge was stocked with the few fresh staples I needed too!
Sophie's place is very small but perfectly adequate for our stay. The location is great, very close to Musee d'Orsay. We just wish we had more towels.
Small, but very efficient - and beautiful located - apartment! Sophie is a very nice host. Recommended for a single traveler!
The host canceled my reservation the day before arrival.
This apartment was very convenient for me - right near the offices where I had a business meeting. Definitely Levallois Perret is not a tourist spot - but is within quick distance to central Paris on a direct metro line. The apartment is rather spartan because Sophie is selling it, so personal affects like pictures, rugs etc are gone - but it has everything you could need for a few nights. Sophie was very helpful - came to find me when I arrived a bit late, was very helpful in explaining the neighborhood etc - all in all, a very pleasant, welcoming host. And lastly - you can't beat the price!
This last-minute booking worked out great. The apartment is warm and inviting, lots of books everywhere, and it really feels like someone lives here. It is very small by American standards but I didn't mind it (though the bed is pretty wide). It's very close to Musee D'Orsay, where I ate my lunch every day. If you have problem climbing stairs, I wouldn't recommend it. But otherwise, it was everything as promised. Thank you so much, Sophie!
Sohpie's place was fantastic. She made every effort to be helpful and accomodating and warm, helping me carry my suitcase up the stairs; providing maps, snacks, and even binoculars; and providing helpful advice on train and opera tickets before I even arrived. It was a perfect location for everything I needed. I will definitely hope to stay with her on my next Paris visit!
The host canceled my reservation. She seemed friendly and easy to communicate with - but, unfortunately, she had an emergency and was unable to accommodate for the dates we had agreed on.
Perfect place and a wonderful location! I would definitely stay there again.
Sophie is a perfect guest! Highly recommended as an airbnber.
We receive Sophie for one night and we had a lot of chats with her. It was very interesting to speek with her and to share our experiences together.
