Last fall my husband and his brother, Seth, secretly bought this 280 acre farm that sits atop Brotherton Mountain in Putnam County, Tennessee. I wasn't thrilled. Don't get me wrong, the land is beautiful, really beautiful. But, seriously? Don't we all have a little too much on our plates, I argued. Oh, but there was a stone house, and a perfect little barn, and blackberry thickets, and little overgrown lakes. Fun project, right? We'd done these types of things before, right?
Fast forward…yes, it was fun, especially knowing that it'd be a little getaway spot rather than a residence. To be quite honest, though, we made it incredibly charming anyway :)
