Vittorio, art busiess student living in Williamsburg, 24 years old. You are going to share the apartment with two art business students, a french girl and an italian guy.
I stayed at Vittorio's place for a couple of days in August. It is located in a great area - Brooklyn - in my view one of the coolest areas to stay while you are in New York. The subway is so close that you can get to Manhattan quickly. The appartment and the room are great. It has high ceilings etc. so you can experience living in a loft which was great for me. I didn't meet Vittorio since he rented his room, however, his two flatmates are very very nice, they welcomed me warmly and showed me anything I needed. To sum up, if you go to New York and you are looking for a place in Brooklyn (you should!) I warmly recommend you to stay at Vittorio's!
although i never saw vittorio he always answered any of my questions very quickly. his flatmates marco and olivier are absolut darlings and helped me where they could.
A really great room, close to everything! With the L line you'll be in Manhattan in 10 minutes... The roommates took the time to give us good address! We would have stayed more than two nights if we could! It's a good place to discover Williamsburg and the other neighborhoods of Brooklyn...
I stayed here for one month, and then extended my stay one month more and would be more than happy to come back in the future!
Vittorio is a great host who has an excellent knowledge of what is going on in Brooklyn and beyond, especially for galleries, museums and the arts. Very accommodating and welcoming.
The room itself offers quite a lot of space, with a desk and more than enough space for hanging clothes etc. The lofted bed area has enough ceiling space for most people to stand up in and the bed itself is huge. I was a bit worried I would feel claustrophobic or shut in without a window to the outside, but the window still brought in a lot of natural light and the room is spacious.
The kitchen/living room area has a great feel and look, everyone falls in love with the place right away.
The area is great, it is about 15 walk to Bedford Avenue but there are also lots of cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. Quick walk to the G and L. Convenient with laundromat, a supermarket and 24/7 bistro within a 3 minute walk.
I really recommend staying here for long- or short-term and know anyone would love the place too, it is a fantastic deal and a great experience!
Staying at this apartment was the highlight of my trip! I made some great friends and it had a fabulous atmosphere! It's in a great location just a couple of minutes from the Lorimer L and the neighbourhood has everything one could need. Wonderful people, wonderful place. I would return in a heartbeat.
