Very happy...We had a very nice stay in the appartment. Appartment is a bit older, but funtional and comfortable (and as described)
Perfect location if you want to walk to all main sights. Wi-fi worked very well.
Helene and Vassilis were excellent hosts and helped with transportation to the airport and organized a trip.
We were 4 in the appartment which was spacious enough, we really loved the terrace where we had all of our breakfast, the weather was so nice In February!! Thanks to Vassilis who picked up us at the airport and for having organized our tour to the Poseidon temple. Special thanks to Krysta who drove us to Cape Sounio, she is really really kind and so funny, we laughed a lot!!! But she also explained us a lot about Greek history and culture. Thanks to all of you!
My husband and I just returned from a one month stay at the Athens Sea View apartment. We've lived in Greece before (downtown) and this time we wanted to live by the water. You couldn't pick a better location. If for nothing else, I think the location is absolutely perfect! Situated in an affluent neighborhood right across the beach of Alimos, on a quiet residential street across from an elementary school. We had restaurants and stores nearby, two TRAM stops to choose from and easy access to the main road of Leoforos Poseidonas. It took us 10 minutes to drive to Glyfada and 10 minutes to drive downtown. PERFECT LOCATION. Given that it was summer, the traffic wasn't very bad but I can imagine that it probably gets super busy during the summer. No matter for you however, if you're walking across the street to the beach - no need for a car!
The apartment itself was alright. This is the 5th floor penthouse of a 5 story building. It's an older building, so don't expect modern decor or amenities, but it does have everything you will absolutely need for a great trip. Spacious 3 rooms, living area and kitchen! I assure you that you wont be spending much time indoors anyways. You're in beautiful Greece with everything you need OUTSIDE so get outdoors!
The patio is the real seller here. Every morning we would enjoy our coffees and breakfast outside watching the water and old men play paddle ball on the beach. Watching people walk up and down the platform and seeing the water was a delight.
Helena and her husband were very helpful. Whenever we had a question, they always promptly replied back to us to offer their assistance. Gracious hosts!
If this is your first time in Greece, be prepare for awesomeness. Greece is the most amazing country in the world, especially when you know where to go! I visit every year and every year I learn about new things to do and see. Especially in Athens! If this is your first time, or you don't speak the language, I would ask Helena and her husband for help. They seem to offer tours and tips around the Athens area. A great way to learn about the city.
We will be sure to contact them for our next vacation stay in Athens! We love this city and you will too!
We had a very enjoyable stay in Athens. The apartment is conveniently located between the City and the coast making trips to the sites and the beach/lake easy. The apartment itself is good value for money, as is the city in general, and has supermarkets and restaurants close by. I would highly recommend a visit to Athens and I will stay in the apartment again if I return to the city.
Helena's place was truly great ..Beautiful view of the acropolis its right across the street literally ..stylish very beautiful apartment ..I would stay here when ever I'm in athens .
Great SPOT! GREAT Host! HOWEVER! Internet was very difficult to understand the password. Kind of spoty. No English TV Channels. No movies. But GREAT Lift, and great view from the Ceiling. However Know that to get to the roof to see the view you must climb somewhat unsafe emergency exit in the back!
Otherwise I would HIGHLY SUGGEST STAYING HERE! Great location, and GREAT host!
Helena's place is a really nice spot in Athens. very nice quite road very accessible from the airport by public transport but also and easy walk to the Acropolis and lots of nice places to eat and have a drink around the Plaka area.
She arranged for someone to meet me when I stayed who explained where everything was and also how to work the coffee!
I would definitely recommend this place!
A perfect place!! Near Acropolis and all the places you want
to visit in Athens. Vassilis gretr host and very helpfull

The aparrment was perfect for the four of us.
If you plan to travel to Athens Vassilis and Helena are the
people you have to contact
You will not find a better flat than this one. It is very central has a breath taking view and you really feel at home.
We were 4 people and we all felt very comfortable.
Thank you very much and we will most probably come back to you soon enough !!
Finding the apartment was easy enough. We came by car so parking was the most difficult. There are a number of lots in the area or if you are lucky, or fast, you can find free street parking. The apartment is just as it is pictured. It is close to the Acropolis Museum, 2 blocks maybe, but there is only a street view off the terrace. It is a large terrace and in the warmer months it would be lovely to sit out in the evening with friends. The bedrooms were great and comfortable with nice pillows. The host even placed a small bed for our youngest son in a quiet corner in the living room (we have three boys) so there is plenty of space. The kitchen is in perfect working order. There is plenty of dishes and pots for cooking. We had some issue figuring out the hood fan, the controls are hidden, but we were talked through how to find them by Helene on the phone! Helene was explicit in expressing that if we had any issues to not hesitate to call. I never felt embarrassed to call and ask her a question. The apartment's radiator heat is on a timer controlled by the building. But there are wall units to take the December chill away (or air condition in the summer too). The biggest quirk is the hot water. Remember to turn it on in enough time to have a shower, and to turn it off before getting in the water or it will be too hot! The one thing my children didn't like was not being able to put toilet paper in the toilet, but this is an issue all over Greece so I didn't think it was a problem. (I just wanted to let potential renters to know.) One more small warning. If you are traveling with curious children, do not alert their attention to the 'window' behind the toilet. It is a ventilation (?) shaft that drops the 4 stories down. I peeked but I didn't show my boys, just say it is a window if children ask. The apartment was great for us. We enjoyed our time there and walked all over Athens, not once moving our car from the prime spot in front of the building.
Ein sehr höflicher und angenehmer Gast. Er hat mir Musik aus Griechenland geschenkt. Darüber habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Ein immer willkommener Gast.
She's a great host I would say! Highly recommended :)
Helena is funny, intelligent, she's easy going, can even read your mind or at least it seems like she can! If I had to travel with someone, I'd choose her. An dI'd be very happy to see her in her place too, as I know she's the best host ever. I recommend her 300%.
