Hi I'm from Mexico City and I graduated from Baylor University in Texas. I've been living in the San Diego area for 15 years and enjoy horseback riding, the beautiful nearby beaches and our hometown sports teams.

Had a great weekend staying at this location. Francisco made things very simple and easy to check in/out. The apartment itself was very spacious and clean, we were two couples staying just two nights so we didn't really need much but towels, shampoo, and soap was all provided. Beds were very comfy. Overall great place! Close to gaslamp district and good eats. Free parking was nice as well.
The host and his staff were excellent with their communication and they made all of the instructions crystal clear! They were indeed very helpful. I am a professional in my 30's writing this review.
Nice TV/Apple TV for entertainment
Easy to connect to Wi-fi
Easy to get in and out of the place
Ample space for up to 3 residents (I stayed alone though)
The area was a little bit sketchy; homeless folks right in front of the building, and weird pounding noises outside at night. Even as a male I did not feel safe in the area at night.
Relatively dirty: I found many stray hairs that were not my own in addition to a not so clean smell in the place.
Main living room is poorly lit: I had trouble skyping with my family as they could not see me on the screen in such a dimly lit room.
Pretty loud: people walking/talking in the hallways and up the staircases could be easily heard in the room.
Shower was not a good experience: The shower head is awful, and the shower curtain must be kept out of the tub. This in turn leads to water dripping on the bathroom floor after your shower.
In conclusion, it is a very functional and passable place to stay. It really depends on your demographics. As a male professional in my 30's, I wish I had chosen a place that was nicer with better amenities. It was more geared for a college kid. More importantly, I wish I had known it was in a seedy area that was pretty far from downtown area. Again, I have no complaints with the host. They were fantastic. I guess my expectations were a little out of line with the place I chose.
walkable to the Gaslamp quarter. great communications, very clear instructions to get the key to the apartment. nice place; clean, all furniture and equipment in full working order and good condition. not enough cups etc if there were four or you. comfortable beds. kind of noisy on Saturday night, but that is just because it is an apartment. one bedroom overlooks the corridor and elevators, and one bedroom overlooks where the homeless people are camped across the street.
Overall my experience was great. I came down to SD to do a little work and to go down to the gaslamp district and do some playing. Everything was walking distance which was awesome. The view from the balcony was awesome ESP if you're a baseball fan. The place was kept neat, simple, and modern. Id definitely come stay here again whenever I'm down in San Diego.
Apartment was in an awesome location a few blocks from the baseball stadium and the Gaslamp quarter. Apartment did not have an AC but didn't need one thanks to the mild weather and the bed was uncomfortable. Francisco was awesome with communication. Overall, it was a great experience.
All went well... The apt was kind of plain but it had what we needed. The walls are thin and there is a bar next door so it got a bit loud sometimes!
Everything was as advertised.
Having the keys is one location and the condo in another could be a challenge for someone who does not have a car.
The TV was very confusing. All I wanted was local programing but could not figure out how to establish that. Perhaps a set of instructions left in the condo ( with the controls ) would be helpful.
The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, a market nearby, and walking distance to Gas Lamp District and Petco Park. The secure parking spot in the building was a big plus.
Host was easy to communicate with and prompt! Furnishings & kitchen amenities were more sparse than expected. Location & cleanliness were great!
The experience was average. The photos make this place look like a gorgeous loft, but it honestly felt sterile and impersonal. It had the bare minimum, so it worked, but we didn't necessarily enjoy the stay. The upstairs gets extremely warm and humid. We often had to keep the window open during the day just for some air flow (which was also warm). The floors were not visibly dirty but when we walked barefoot, our feet turned black with dirt from the floor. The downstairs bathroom was missing soap, and there were no extra soap bottles in the place. It was also missing a hand towel. The location was great and communication also wonderful. The key wasn't in the place specified, but Francisco's assistant met us about 20 mins later to give us their other key. We'd recommend this place if you need a bed to crash in, but if you plan on spending time here, it's fairly underwhelming.
