Excellent repeat stay. Too bad my contract in WI has finished up! Very nice experience after work stress!
We had a really nice stay at Chad's home. From pre-arrival to departure, he was attentive and thoughtful. Communication with him was easy and reliable, and he greeted us warmly when we arrived.
Chad's home was clean and comfortable, and he included extras like coffee in the morning. He also made great food recommendations.
Chad is very hospitable, respectful, and friendly. We would stay at Chad's place again and recommend it to others!
Chad is an exceptional host. After this week's visit, I'm staying again next week even with the drive being a little longer. Good conversation, beautiful home, comfy and clean. Can really forget about the worries of the day here with the creature comforts of a home.
So no, realtor's homes aren't white and boring :)
My adult daughter and I stayed at this lovely, large two-bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The apartment is clean and beautifully furnished and decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen stocked with all the dishes and cookware you would need to make a meal. Chad met me when I arrived and made sure I knew where everything was. He also left notes with restaurant suggestions, the wifi password, and other information about the apartment. After he left, he was available by phone and checked on us to see if we needed anything. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe for taking long walks and is close to some nice restaurants and only about 10-15 minutes from downtown and the lake. The woman who lives in the upstairs apartment was friendly and offered suggestions for where to go for a good breakfast. It was perfect for us and I would definitely stay here again.
I am very happy with the stay that I (email hidden) Lower Flat in Milwaukee. The location was great and the house was exactly as described! Given that I drove to Milwaukee, I was extremely happy that there was off-street parking. I also have to mention that Chad was a wonderful host! While he wasn't there upon arrival, he made sure that I had all of the information I needed to access the property and made himself available for any questions I had. I would definitely recommend renting this property if in the Milwaukee area!
I made a 10-night reservation for Chad's suite as I had a course to attend in Wauwatosa. Chad was very helpful in providing me with transportation information from the airport, as well as very clear instructions on how to get to the house. Additionally, he researched bus routes for me to take. The house is a quick 0.5 mile walk from North Ave, which is a main street with a couple major bus routes and several good restaurants and pubs.
Chad's place had everything I needed for my stay (including tupperware to pack my own lunches), and he definitely went above and beyond what was required. The house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. He thoughtfully provided me with some breakfast items since I was arriving late and wouldn't have time to go to the grocery store. Chad was away for the first 7 days but when he arrived home he was happy to converse and chat but also gave me plenty of space to study. As my flight to leave was very early in the morning, he also generously offered me a ride to the airport.
And, as everyone has stated, the bed is mega comfy! I had a great experience at Chad's and would happily stay again.
Our stay at Chad's flat for a week in February whilst visiting our son and daughter -in-law and new granddaughter.
The flat is extremely comfortable with everything to make your stay feel like you are at home.
Chad was excellent in all communications from the start responding promptly to any messages. He was flexible with check in/check out which was easy and straight forward.
The location of the property is perfect for access to all areas of Milwaukee.
To summarise - a great stay in a very comfortable property in a perfect location.
Chad was great, prior to my arrival and after. He checked in with me prior, to be sure I did not have any q's. regarding the procedure for the keys, etc. My urban driving & navigation, I would say, "timid", he let me know he was avail on phone if I got off track. His place felt like home by the personal, respectful and welcoming ambiance that is his genuine nature. Made sure I could use his kitchen, living room, as a friend would...had food and refreshments avail. if i wanted, privacy if I wanted. He helped me in with my bags. Neighborhood is an old urban scene, nicely kept homes, tightly packed but sense of family and peopled place. Good night time street lighting...a light on the street and sidewalk right in front of Chad's place. Felt like a place I would feel easy about going for a walk if I wanted...a school and church a block away, with adult crossing guards on corners in the morning, added to the sense of security of the area.
My wife and I stayed for two consecutive long weekends in January 2015. After some initial hiccups, everything went very smoothly and we would gladly return. So, first the hiccups - (1) the upstairs tenant was decidedly unfriendly as we arrived (Chad was out of town) -- it's probably not fun to have different people coming and going below you, but she could have at least said hello and introduced herself; (2) on the 1st weekend we arrived in a snowstorm that covered a thick piece of ice on the driveway, and I had a pretty hard fall as a result - the snow was cleared later on; (3) the house is older/cold and it took some time to find the right combination of furnace and space heaters to be comfortable. Now for all the positives - it's a beautiful (arts/crafts) and functional space that we felt very comfortable spreading out in. It was very close to everything we needed. Especially during the cold nights, we appreciated being able to use one stall in the garage, but there is also street parking. The Tempur-pedic mattresses are incredibly comfortable, and the main bed even has a adjustable head and foot. We did not use the pull-out bed in the living room. The kitchen space is very modern, and we made at least two meals there every day. As shown in the photos, the common room is comfortable and stylish. We don't typically watch a lot of TV, but after our days out it was nice to come back and scan through the sports and movie channels. We could occasionally hear the upstairs tenant, but it was never disturbing. Chad was absolutely clear, concise, kind, and timely in his communications. We look forward to staying here again!
2nd time a charm. Came back for a 4 night stay and once again all was great. Chad once again very good at checking in via text/email and making sure all was up to par. Definitely plan on coming back this summer!
I wasn't there, but my home was left clean and tidy. Chad is also an excellent communicator, friendly and the kind of person AirBnB hosts appreciate.
Chad was the perfect guest! He was communicative and clean. I would love to have him stay again, should he come back to my neck of the woods. :)
