A great little apartment in the centre of Split; close to the bus/train station and plenty of bars and attractions. Sanja was a great host - easy to contact and ready to help if needed. The house itself was clean and stocked with everything I needed for a short stay. I'd happily recommend this place to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Split.
Key was there, thank you, hope you liked Split. Enjoy rest of your trip!
This little spot is lovely; clean, compact, with basically everything you need & super close to the centre of town. Sanja is extremely accommodating in terms of check in/out processes & a good communicator. We had some significant issues with the internet so take note in case you're relying on the internet to plan your trip or keep in touch with family (we've been travelling for 11 months so were a bit sad we couldn't easily Skype our parents). The kitchen is functional & quite easy to cook in however there is a lack of bench space (another thing to note if you plan on cooking). There is a Tommy supermarket close by & a discount bottle shop. Would recommend!
I rented this room and "Zen" for my aunt and myself while staying in Split. Absolutely great and would happily stay there again! You can read my review on "Zen" for more details.
Sanja's apartments really exceeded my expectations. I was traveling through the Balkans with my family and rented a room for myself and my aunt across the way (I stayed here in Zen; I gave the bigger room — "Balance" — to my aunt.). Our GPS directions had a little bit of trouble initially finding the place but that's entirely due to the unique corridors and pathways that don't really have proper street names (or allow cars) that you'll find all over Split.
This place lives up to its name and was incredibly quiet and relaxing. It was close enough to walk to all of the popular things in Split — I even walked all the way around the Marjan from there, though that was a pretty healthy walk — but quiet and secluded enough that I almost felt like I had the whole neighborhood to myself. At the end of our days we'd sit on the porch and sip rakija beneath the terrace. In the mornings I'd make a little snack in the kitchen and grab espresso at the caffe around the corner.
The only thing that might be worth noting is that it was a little difficult connecting to the internet consistently from our rooms. This is probably due to all of the interesting angles and architecture in that pocket of the neighborhood. Sanja was kind enough to let us walk up the stairs to her terrace and use the wifi from there which worked perfectly.
I would quite happily rent this place again!
Unfortunately we got rubbed in Split, but Sanja helped as soon as she heard it and did everything she could do to comfort us. Her place is really nice also. Very quiet and without disturb.
I am sorry that this happend to you... thank you and hope you will not remember Croatia only for this unfortunate episode
Comfy little apartment a few minutes walk, through old twittens, from hustle of town and not too far from a swim location.
We had a lovely stay in Split at Sanja's apartment. It was nice and clean, and while it is a little small, it has everything you would need, including a kitchen. It is in a really nice neighboorhoud and quiet location, but still very close to the port, nice beaches and Diocletian's palace.
The reservation was canceled 110 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a great stay in Split at Sanja's. It was very clean, and while it is a little small, there was enough space for 2 of us.
It is in a good location, close to a nice beach and Diocletian's palace.
Only downside is the wifi is a little patchy.
Overall though, I would definitely recommend staying here.
Sharing with Sanja few days at my home has been amazing!
She's really nice and lovely. You can communicate with her perfectly and she's so respectful.
Living with her has been really easy. It's like I already know her before her arrival.
I totally recommend her. You should give her the opportunity to stay with you at home. I'm sure you'll learn a lot with her!
tenga cuidado y no trabajar tanto :)
Sanja and her son stayed in my apartment for two nights. Very nice people and they left the place clean and tidy. I hope to see them back in Amsterdam!
I have been Sanja's guest many times. Her home is my favorite place not only in Split, but in whole Croatia. Just because Sanja is a great person: inteligente, creative, funny, cosmopolitan, well educated with great manners. Because of her, but also because an old part of Split where the house is setled, as well as interior you'll experience it not just as room or flat, but as home.
