I am in my early 30's and have been living in Brooklyn for years. I love art, travel, cooking and making friends from all over. Airbnb is an amazing place to make those friends too!
hope you love my artsy apartment!!
See you then!

We didn't see Jen but this didn't detract from the visit at all, Jen was prompt with communication and it was very easy to gain access to the property. Stair access to the apartment was a little awkward with large bags but we managed easily enough.
The apartment was just the right size for the two of us, it was comfortable and stylish however there are a couple of areas that need a little tlc.
The area was fantastic, we felt very safe with great access to subways and a variety of places to eat right outside the door, many of these were our favourite places to eat whilst visiting Brooklyn and Manhattan. Martha and Heritage wine shop are well worth visiting.
So very welcome...a total joy! The best location in the area!
If you are looking for a great 'live in New York' experience Jens apartment is a fantastic place to stay. It delivers on all that it promises. I stayed in the apartment for close to 3 weeks and it was perfect and convenient for visiting Brooklyn as well as Manhattan.
The space is comfortable and clean for those days you need to stay in and rest. The area is safe with many lovely spots nearby to get some food. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your own meals too.
The apartment looks exactly as it is in the pictures.
Previous complaints about the cleanliness of the exposed brick wall are silly. This is a renovated building, it is all part of the character of the building and gives the space a lovely authentic feel.
Jen is extremely accommodating, welcoming, and helpful. She responds to all your messages very quickly and offers some great suggestions of things to do.
If you are planning a really short stay just be aware that the average commute into Manhattan via the subway is about half an hour to forty mins depending on where you are going. Weekend schedules are slower too.
Location is great if you want to escape from the business of Manhattan. Apartment is great, with nice coffee and breakfast places in the neighborhood. Jen is a really good host, she answered our questions really quick! Would definitely recommend this place. Can't wait to return someday in summer time!
Our stay at Jen's was perfect! Everything was exactly as in the description and Jen was very reliable and helpfull!
The appartment is as beautifull as it looks on the pics, the location is great and we felt really at home!
Jen's apartment is really a nice and cozy place to stay! There are lots of restaurants and cafés just around the corner so we definitely enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. Also the subway is pretty close.
Jen is a great host made sure we had a good stay!
Great space, location and host! Would return in a heartbeat!
Staying at Jen's was wonderful. The apartment and location were perfect for our Brooklyn visit. Jen was responsive and super easy to coordinate with. We look forward to staying here again in the future! Thanks Jen!
This place was just not for us and did not meet our expectations/standards and we actually did not end up staying there. Upon arrival to the building the hallways smelled of weed (which I know was not Jen's fault). Once we entered the apartment we noticed the wall appeared to have mold on it and was yellow. In the hallway there was a bag of trash. The couch was filled with stains. The bathroom was clean however the last guests wet towels were still hanging up on the hooks. I called Jen and she told me where I could find additional towels. Overall, Jen did try to be helpful and was responsive but the place needed a deep cleaning. The bed only had a thin cover. We ended up renting a hotel room and were much more comfortable.
beautiful couple, such a pity i dont have much time to show them around. i was so busy with the new hotel project. they are really wonderful guest. kept the room so clean. hope to be able to visit u one day . brooklyn.
Jen and her guests were fantastic! Unfortunately I was unable to be there to welcome them at their arrival but she she was very easy to communicate with before, during, and after her stay! She left our place in perfect condition and was the ideal guest.
Thanks again Jen and you are welcome back anytime.
Jen was a great guest. She communicated her travel plans and responded promptly to everything. She let me know how much she enjoyed the space and left everything in excellent order. I would have/recommend her anytime!
Jen was an incredible guest. Respectful and super clean. I was in London while she stayed and only met her on the last night and I was sad that I wasn't around to have spent more time with her and her boyfriend. Great people, so nice!
