Cute place. A little short-ceilinged if you are tall, but a beautiful bathroom and nice area of town as well. It is attached to a restaurant that is open late and heard employees dragging objects around at night. Did not feel very private. It was also very cold when we arrived.
The garden cottage was cozy, clean and fun. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was roomy and had great water pressure. Dayna has provided lots of magazines and guide books, which were helpful. The hot tub was fabulous! The neighborhood was walkable, with public transport nearby and lots of cafés.
What an amazing home in the Alberta Arts District. This loft space has incredible features including beautiful skylights and a hot tub! The hot tub was especially delightful since it was a chilly, rainy weekend when we were there, however it was a little awkward since the backyard is shared with the restaurant downstairs, diners can see you and vice versa. There is also some noise from the restaurant downstairs, but was completely tolerable. This area is perfect for a Portland getaway with TONS of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. We walked to dinner every night and ate like kings and queens.
Dayna's home is incredible and she was super responsive when we had some questions about outlets! We had an amazing stay here and would definitely look into staying here in the future!! Thanks for the awesome weekend!
My friends and I loved our stay at Dayna's loft! The location has everything you could want within walking distance -absolutely perfect for introducing friends to this city that I love! Thank you Dayna for offering up your gorgeous airie for our little bit of Zen amidst the hubbub of girls weekend away.
The cottage is cozy and simple and absolutely perfect. Definitely better for established couples as the bathroom allows for little privacy (the shower is amazing). There are so many details that we loved. The hot tub was a perfect place to have a glass (bottle) of wine and unwind. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a little noise at night and in the morning from the restaurants, but nothing a pair of earplugs (and a bottle of wine) didn't eliminate. We will make this place a tradition, for sure!
We had a fantastic time at this place. I proposed to my lady here and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The pictures don't do the courtyard justice. It's gorgeous. It was a little weird at first as I didn't quite realize it was connected to the Yakuza Lounge, and I was a bit concerned about privacy, but they closed the back patio for us, and after the Lounge closes you have the whole courtyard/hot tub area to yourselves. (hot tub was great!) The cabin is very cozy. We had a small plumbing issue and our host was amazing and took care of it while we were out eating. I'm planning on returning for our anniversary.
This was our second stay at Dayna's loft, and it was still amazing : ) She has created a complete oasis in one of the coolest neighborhoods in Portland. Her interior design sense is unique and incredible — it's just a gorgeous place to be. Also, Dayna is a great communicator, super-furendly and helpful. I'd return in a heartbeat!
We had a fantastic stay. The host was great and easy to communicate with. You will love this Airbnb!
Very peaceful and spacious loft; very open with nice dual balconies. Good home base to explore Portland or just to rest up and enjoy the place.
The loft was spectacular and even better than in the pictures. It had the exact aesthetic I would prefer in a living space and it was well-situated next to restaurants and the main drag of Alberta. Dayna was very welcoming and hospitable in her restaurants nearby and made us feel very welcome during our stay in portland.
Dayna is great
Dayna, an Airbnb host, was a wonderful visitor. She was independent, easily finding her way around and meeting locals as she went. Her experience as a traveler was evident. She was a fantastic conversationalist. Her natural interest, curiosity and friendliness made her the dream guest.
