Peter was an excellent host. Great experience overall. Awesome Manhattan location with easy access to many things. Really nice NYC apartment. Highly recommend.
Peter did a great job at making us feel at home right off the bat. He got us set up in the apartment with keys, extra towels/toiletries if we needed them, spare sheets and pillows/pillowcases, and he showed us how to use the hot/cold water, lights, and kitchen appliances in case we wanted to cook or store food during our trip. The apartment is in a nice late 1920s/early 1930s (altered in 1950s) apartment building with an elevator (convenient!) right near major rows of shops and only a couple blocks away from the nearest Metro station. Really enjoyed our stay in the neighborhood.
The apt was perfect for what I needed. Apt located close to the subway station and close to the bus stop. It gives you an opportunity to choose, what kind of public transport system you prefer. You can also get a taxi on the 3th super quick.
Peter was incredible friendly and helpful. He made sure that I got to the apt and made himself available to me basically all the time. Thanks.
Location: Peter's apartment is in a bustling neighborhood on the outer edge of a high-end historic area. I felt secure walking alone as late as midnight. Centrally located between Walgreens, Food Emporium, dry cleaners, and good shopping.
Property: A good-sized apartment, comfortable for two with defined spaces. Furnished in a clean, masculine, minimalist style, the apartment reflects Peter's fine taste. Typical NYC environment: some external daytime noise, evenings are fairly quiet. Typical of NYC buildings of this era, fixtures and such may seem dated to some visitors. Firm bed, clean bedding, and towels provided.
Peter communicates well and quickly (usually within an hour). His kind proxy greeted me at 2:30AM and provided a tour of the apartment. He was available for assistance during my stay, if needed. Peter checked in with me by text during the week, unprompted but not intrusive, and I appreciated this.
Peter was a great guest and I very much enjoyed hosting him. Also, his communication was always friendly and timely.
Peter arrived quietly and left in the same way. I was busy in and out with my own schedule of skiing and enjoying our amazing Tahoe area. I invite you back at your leisure.. Look forward to meeting you in person this time. Happy Airbnb Journeying!
