We stayed two nights at Annabellas Riad. We really enjoyed the time there. Annabella and here husband are very warm hosts and whenever we had a question or a demand they were very helpful and very obliging. The Riad is quiet and calm and about 15 min away from place Jemma el Fna. If we come back to Marrakech we will definatelly stay again at Riad El Sagaya!
What a wonderful holiday. The riad is so beautiful and Anabella and her staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. El Sagaya is an oasis of peace amongst the exuberant life of the medina. We stayed for a week, from 14th to 21st April, in a clean and confortable room with bathroom, enjoyed breakfast and the occasional Riad dinner in the cool by the plung pool. Mubarack organised our day trip, which ran like clockwork. Most evenings we took the 15min stroll into the souk and down to the square to enjoy the vibrant evening life it offers. We will definatly be going back. Thank you all so much.
The riad was wonderful, an unexpected oasis in the throng of the Marrakech medina. We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location is absolutely ideal, a short walk from the Jemaa el-Fna but also easily accessible from outside the medina. I also had to juggle a few details of our stay, because of the difficult schedule of our trip, and Annabella was very helpful and accommodating. I'd recommend Annabella's place to anyone.
This was a perfectly nice Riad for the price, and Mubarak was very welcoming and helpful. We had to stay in different bedrooms for each of the two nights we stayed, the second of which felt rather miserable after the loveliness of the first! Rather a carb-heavy breakfast which would be vastly improved by some egg or cheese. Overall ok for the money, and we'd recommend.
We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and were welcomed into our riad. The streets are crowded in the old part of Marrakesh but when you are in the riad it is a quiet tranquil retreat from the business outside. The breakfast was very good and they were accommodating when we had to leave early in the morning. The staff and owners were delightful and we felt safe. We would definitely stay there again. Very Moroccan!
We felt extremely welcomed at the Riad! Upon arrival we were served with amazing mint tea up on the sunny roof, we felt so relaxed after our flight that we almost didn't want to leave! We were warmly greeted each time we arrived back to the Riad throughout the day by the very friendly and helpful house staff. We found our "home" in Marrakech for the week, which is always nice to have in such a wonderfully manic city. I would definitely recommend you choose to stay in this Riad. Fantastic hospitality, fantastic house and fantastic value. We'll be back!
My group had a lovely stay at Annabella's riad. We stayed in three separate rooms on different floors of the riad, all with a unique design. The riad is in walking distance to the medina square and close to many cabs as well. The man at reception was very nice, helping my group arrange for a day excursion through a business operating a few steps away from the riad. Annabella also arranged for a driver to pick us up from the airport at arrival, very helpful considering it was our first time in Marrakech!
Beautiful place. Annabella was very helpful in accommodating a slightly strange schedule we had where we stayed at Riad El Sagaya 2 nights with 1 night in between in Essaouira. Hosts at the riad were very nice and helpful. Walls are very thin there. Not an issue the 2nd night but 1st night there was a loud group of kids up above us. Nothing they could really do about that though, just had to throw some earplugs in. Great location on Rue Gza where taxis etc can come right in and get you, also pretty much a straight shot down to the square. All in all a pretty awesome stay in Marrakech with the folks at Riad El Segaya.
Le riad est bien situé, à proximité de l'une des portes de la medina.
Le personnel a été très sympathique et disponible tout au long du séjour.
Anna was very easy to deal with, lovely lady. Left the place in good condition.
