I am a Japanese. soon I will be 60.
The apartment is very nice and clean. It is close to the beach, there is a connivence/ grocery store right next to the building. There was a little noise from the street but quieted down early.
Tokie was very helpful with information ahead of time.
Tokie was the best host I have had yet, she was so welcoming and even met me on the corner when the shuttle bus dropped me off. She helped with little local tips for getting around Oahu, where to get good cheap sushi and provided me with beautiful breakfasts in the morning. Tokie was an absolute pleasure to stay with, welcoming you into her home was very important to her, and I would definitely stay with Tokie again.
Tokie is very sweet and has a wonderful spirit. I really enjoyed getting to know her. Her home is warm and immaculate and she makes a splendid breakfast, which is more than any guest would expect. I felt a genuine connection to her and would love the chance to visit again. It was more like a home stay than a random hotel. I wish her the best and many thanks!!!
Tokie O is a most amazing conscientious Host. She is also a very accomplished cook. Her accommodation was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. As a lone traveller, she made me feel welcome and happily made sure that I was aware of local activities that might interest me. You will love the fact that the beach and shopping is merely blocks away. The bus system of Oahu is one of the best in the world. You will not need to rent a car to get to the North Shore, Waikiki Downtown, The Polynesian Cultural Centre and ,many more popular tourist destinations. Many wonderful memories were made during my recent trip to Hawaii. Thank you so much Tokie!
A great location with a wonderful hostess! I would not hesitate to stay here again....a number of things were within easy walking distance.
Our stay with Tokie was wonderful. She is a sweet, helpful hostess, with an impeccable home. We were very comfortable, and felt right at home. Tokie's house is right at the start of Waikiki, across from the beach, close to tons of restaurants and shops, and she can tell you where the best ones are. She also has lots of bus info for visiting sights beyond walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely look up Tokie on our next visit! Thanks, Tokie!!
It was my first time to try out Airbnb and it was a pleasant surprise! Tokie was an amazing host. She was very gracious when I came in late at night and when I left very early the next morning. She prepared toast, coffee and fruits for me before I left. The location is very accessible and central. I highly recommend you to stay with Tokie! :)
Toki is very nice. Breakfast was a nice touch in the morning and the location could not be better if you want to experience Waikiki.
Tokie is great! The perfect host!
And the place is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Everything in the apartment is done with a great feeling for design, tasteful and nice. The breakfast was so much more than I did expect. Great coffee, toast, fresh fruits, a boiled egg... You could not ask for a better host!
Tokie showed me Waikiki, we went out for dinner and had a great time. She even gave me earplugs so I could perfectly sleep. (Waikiki is a busy City and I am not used to any noise at night. So that was fine!)
She gave me a timetable for the buses, I was able to enjoy my last day, because my bags where stored at here place till I got a shuttle to the airport in the evening.
The location is great: only a very! short walk to the beach, close to all the shops.
If I ever come back to Waikiki, this is the place to stay! Tank you so much Tokie. You are wonderful.
Our first experience on Airbnb. Tokie was an amazing host! She has a beautiful place and we felt comfortable the whole time we were there. Its a very secure building and so close to the local attractions!
Aloha, Tokie and her friend are great guests. I highly recommend them. Mahalo Vicki
