Friendly, we like to talk to people and this is why we work in a B&B. We want to meet people and share a good moment.

A very rustic farmhouse in the countryside with new owners, and seems perfect for fishermen and cyclists touring the countryside. The breakfast was lovely, especially the homemade pancake, and my partner's full Irish was delicious as well.
We had a bit of confusion on arrival as no one was around, but one of the WOOFers living in one of the trailers on the property let us in, and we found our way around.
The wifi worked well so we found a place to eat in one of the nearby towns.
We didn't have access to the lounge, and there was a meditation group so we were told we could join but weren't told whether we were able to use it otherwise, so we just stayed in our room once we figured out the heater (which then worked really well) and went to bed early. It seems very cozy if access to the lounge and fireplace fire-making facilities were available.
In the morning Oliver and his wife were there, and were very friendly and she answered all my questions, which let us leave on a high note.
Definitely visit Newgrange and Knowth if you have time, definitely the best sites in Ireland, and the Hill of Tara is very near of course, but make sure you check out the Abbey across the street, it is amazing, and deserted in the late afternoon, and great to explore!
Oliver and Star were both wonderful, friendly, welcoming hosts. The mill itself is a great place, very close to Newgrange and Tara, and right across the road from the ruins of the Bective Abbey. The room was great, the food was great - it was all absolutely wonderful! I hope to come back here sometime - definitely recommended! (as quoted by our son, Dave, who was the guest)
As we said in the review of the previous days, Oliver's place is a great stay - highly recommended!
Oliver was a great host, and his business partners Florian and Sophie went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Since I did not have a car, Sophie picked me up at the bus station, and Oliver drove me himself to the Hill of Tara. The breakfast was delicious and full of choice. The grounds of the Mill are lovely, with a river and a greenhouse and some friendly animals. The room itself was cozy. The only issue was that there were some noisy guests staying on my first night, but that is not entirely the host's fault. My second night was very peaceful.
Esperienza molto positiva.
This B&B is clearly a labor of love. Florian and Sophie go out of their way to make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Their professional standard includes many non-standard surprises, most notably the breakfast at the crackling open fire, with home-baked bread, organic produce from their own garden, their own duck eggs, grass-fed meat... They clearly love what they do, and it is noticeable. I wish them luck, and recommend a stay to everyone!
