Hello! My name is Angelika. Welcome to our beautiful island, and to our new en suite studios! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
I had A great stay kn chania,
And The studio is perfect situated :)
An appartment clean and sweet! The appartment localisation is just perfect in the city center!!
Angelika and his husband are very kind, we were lost and they help us.
Thanks to them for this great stay!
We stayed 10 days at Angelika Studios in chania and we are absolutely satisfied with everything, so I totally recommend it!
The Room was clean, not to small, you have everything you need and it was all like descripted. 3 times a week they clean up and change the towels and somebody put flowers on our bed (thank you). The contact was nice and we get all phonenumbers and information we needed. We had a late check in and they have no reception but a helpful guy from the restaurant next door had our keys and give us instructions.
Later we met our host, he was very nice and gave us a bottle of welcome wine.
The small lane were it is located is in the middle of the old town, two minutes to the harbour, close to the bus station and all the places you want to go.
In opposite to the busy harbour the small lane where the studio is located is calm and relaxed.
All the people who are working and living there know each other and everyday we hear a friendly "kalimera" from all of them.
If you stay at Angelika's go to Steki, the fabulous restaurant next door!
And cuddle the white cat with the green and the blue eye. And don't feed Daphne, the fat dog.
We had a great time there, thanks to all those lovely people who made it a great holiday for us!!!
Angelika Studios was adequate in the accommodations that it offered. The space was clean (though dusty) and was ready upon our arrival. It is in central Chania with easy access to restaurants, shopping and the other 'old town' Chania things.
We were disappointed about some aspects of the accommodations, the most noticeable of which was the overpowering odor of cigarette smoke in the room that was listed as non-smoking. It is not a quiet space, though the street is closed to motor traffic. The restaurant that is below the balconies sounded like a boisterous hang-out well into the wee hours. Also, both nights we stayed, loud people came in and up the stairs (which acts as an echo-chamber) between 2 and 3 am, the first night erroneously attempting to open our door for a minute or two before realizing that theirs was a flight up.
Prior to arrival, we didn't receive instructions on checking in, and upon arrival had a man who didn't introduce himself to us give us a key and take us to the room. He wasn't particularly welcoming, though that could possibly be due to a language barrier issue. We also didn't receive information regarding checkout, until we sent a message and asked them to leave a note on our door (no phone or internet access in the room). There is no reception area or place where we could find the folks renting the rooms.
If you are looking for a backpacker's budget place, this might work for you as a good place to crash while exploring Chania.
The reservation was canceled 87 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
