I was born in Hungary, lived in hawaii for 20 years.
I love the hawaiian cultrure, ocean acvtivities, hiking, nature generally speaking.

This was my first time using airbnb and I had a fantastic experience! Maggie is such a wonderful, kind, and inviting person and was always available to answer any questions. The room was very clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable. (the AC was nice on humid days!) Her dogs are very friendly, although they did bark a few times while coming back to the house. If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place to stay in O'ahu that is in the perfect location...I HIGHLY recommend Maggie's place and hope I am able to return sometime soon! Thanks again Maggie for everything!
Maggie was there to meet and greet me when I arrived. She was very warm and welcoming. A lovely lady!
Very decent house and room. Although we haven't met Maggie in person, she has been very helpful during communication through the app and email. Only downside was that there was no breakfast available and that it was unclear whether there should be or not.
This was my first experience using airbnb and Maggie made it a great one! Our room and private bath were very clean and it felt like we were staying with family or a close friend. The neighborhood is very quiet and the waterfront view is beautiful. I especially enjoyed her 2 friendly dogs. My next visit to Hawai'i will definitely be with Maggie again.
This was my first time using airbnb and it was great. We rented a car so we met Maggie at her house and she was very warm and inviting. Her house is very nice and sits on a marina, enjoyed sitting out back to eat. There were 2 other people staying while we were there and they were very pleasant to talk to. We only seen them in passing here and there. I really enjoyed having the dogs around, reminded me of home. The day we were leaving we had a late flight and she let us stay til we wanted to leave that day. It was a great location, 5 minutes from Hanauma bay which was my favorite by far. Not too far from Lanikai beach which was beautiful but hard to find parking and a little crowded. We enjoyed Waimanalo beach the most bc it offers shade (was sunburnt :( on the first day) and it stretches pretty far which makes it seem like nobody's there and it's beautiful...I highly recommend Maggie's place, it's a bargain price to go out on your own and experience Oahu...
As an AirBnB host myself, i was thoroughly impressed with Maggie and her dreamy home. Great value for such a fantastic location. It's in a waterfront community just outside the Honolulu hustle and bustle, just East of Diamond Head. Gorgeous views, clean and luxury homes everywhere you look but just a five minute drive East takes you to some of the most pristine, untouched paradise. We watched whales blowing water spouts and flapping their tails on the top of the water - Awesome! And we saw this from the very eastern tip of Oahu where there are stunningly beuitiful hiking trails and beaches and blowholes and every adventure sport you can imagine. On the Northeastern shores there are gliders, hang gliders, parasailors, kite boarders, surfers, boogie boarders, reef diving/snorkeling, and I'm sure I'm missing a few more...amazing place.
The home itself is nice and very clean. The shared kitchen is fully stocked and everybody can pitch in and make group meals whenever they want to. Maggie is a good Hungarian cook and a fascinating person to talk to.
This was my first Airbnb experience, and it's sold me on the concept. Maggie was great, extremely curteous and helpful. The house was very clean, the room exceeded any expectation I personally had. We originally had planned to move around the island just for a change of scenery, but ended up staying here because it was so nice.
had a wonderful time at this house. being on the water was wonderful as were her 2 friendly dogs.
The neighborhood is very quite, safe, and relaxing. So we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood in the morning and afternoon. It's very close to Hanauma Bay, where is one of the famous snorkeling spots in Oahu, and is accessible to Honolulu and Kailua area as well. The room is very clean and gets comfortable breeze. Beds are very comfortable, too! Thank you so much for offering such a great place to stay!
With Maggie's years on the Island, we found her very informative in ways we hadn't imagined and helpful in finding our way around.
We had full use of the kitchen which $aved u$ and allowed us to eat "our" food.
Our room was big, full of windows and sliding doors which we left open the whole time to experience the cool breezes. There was a very nice patio off our room with a Bar-B-Q and a large table that we shared sometimes chatting with other guests.
Maggie's B & B is in a semi-private area where everyone has their boats off the back yard, yet only 8 miles from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
Oreo and Koa (her dogs) are very friendly and well mannered.
Should we retune to Oahu, we definitely will book with Maggie.
