Loannis was awesome. Very welcoming and accommodating and friendly. The Katerina rooms are in a wonderful location in the center of old town and all the action. The room was clean and comfortable.
Ioannis and Dimitris were great hosts, with very nice personality. The location was fantastic because it was right in the centre of the old town of Hania. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and the mosquito net was a fantastic bonus, although we actually didn't see any, I'm sure they are around! Loved the little area outside the room with the drying rack for the wet clothes also. When we were leaving Ioannis insisted on helping us with our suitcases, all the way to the car park which was very kind of him. Thoroughly recommend their rooms!
Nice room, situation and host. Perfect.
Ioannis is a very welcoming and friendly host. He made us feel welcome and helped us with maps, directions, what to see, etc... He printed out the bus schedule, ferry schedule, etc for our hike in the Samaria Gorge. The location is terrific. Right in the heart of old town only a couple of blocks from the port. Free parking was about 500 meters away along the coast and the bus station was about 500 meters inland.
This was a great place right in the middle of the old city. Very cute place! The hospitality was amazing. They even printed the bus schedules and everything to help plan our trip to the Samaria Gorge. There are a ton of great places to eat just steps from the place. If you are staying for a couple nights in Chania you can't go wrong here.
Very nice persons and lovely guests and ready to explore!!!! Thanks a lot
Could not have asked for a better experience. Dimitris was a great host. He was quick to reply to all our communications. He gave us some local recommendations for where to eat and what to see. The room looked even better in person than the pictures online. The ceiling was tall and made the room feel large. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Location was perfect. Close to everything yet very quiet. Would stay here again for sure.
Very nice persons and lovely guests!!!! Thanks a lot
Ioannis was so welcoming and super helpful with sorting out logistics and tips for getting around. Really great host. The room was perfect - spacious, clean and light with a lovely balcony - perfect for watching the world go by, reading a book in the sun. As described literally steps from the port, and in the cobbled streets of the old town. Loved it - would definitely go back!
Very nice persons and very relax !!! Lovely guest, clean and respectful of the room. Thanks a lot !!!!
Amazing! We had such a great time in Chania and Ioannis was so nice and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and the shower was hot. As soon as we got into our room we opened the balcony doors and couldn't believe we found such a beautiful place and so close to the old Harbor. I suggest getting lost through the small alley ways of Chania where you will find picturesque shops and more food. We always felt safe walking around and everyone we met was very helpful.
Take the boat trip from the old harbor by the famous captain Nick! It was only 10 euro per person and you will not be disappointed with the view and the friendly atmosphere.
We had rented a car from the airport and parking was difficult to find, but made for an unforgettable experience of driving down narrow roads and sometimes having to go in reverse all the way back because of large trucks.
Our entire stay was spectacular and we even asked to stay another night which Ioannis arranged in seconds.
Charming place, comfortable room and service. Very easy and kind hosts. Dimitri and Ioannis were helpful and flexible, speaking well english. Breakfast was not included/proposed on the place as it was said in comments, and no possibility to eat lunch or dinner on place as described on the page. Maybe because we were too early in the tourist season? Anyways, Katerina was a vary nice place to stay in Chania and close to anything you may need.
