Very very nice place and Mila is so kindly, give us alot of help, thank you very much
I came in late one night -- I had only booked about an hour previous. Mila was nice enough to delay her dinner party elsehwere so she could greet me -- how hospitable! Unfortunately I don't know LA traffic and my estimates were off. We did not end up meeting but it was nice of her to wait!
My room-mate greeted me. She was staying in the living room in the curtained-off bed there. I had the bedroom. We shared a small bathroom without any issue. I was given a clean towel and everything was in order. I was also given access to the kitchen and whatever was in it -- another perk!
One note: parking can be a little rough right next to the apartment. I drove over one block in to the residential area and found a spot no problem. Just mind the street sweeping days!
The next day I just kept going south and arrived in Venice where I spent the day working on my laptop.
Oh ya, you should like cats -- they're very friendly!
So nice to stay here--really helpful to me to find a comfortable place with everything I needed. Mila is very personable. The apartment is convenient to the 405 freeway, Venice Blvd. (15 minutes to the beach) and Santa Monica. I was happy to have internet and Netflicks! There's a full-size kitchen & laundry (downstairs: $1.25). I stayed in the living room, which was fine, but if so, you MUST love cats! (I do). "Piglet" is the most affectionate cat I ever met...very sweet! "Theodore" keeps to himself. Only one thing: Make SURE you read the parking signs on the street...I got a ticket for parking on street sweeping day. Best to park in the alley...wish I did this from the start--however -don't block the garages. Otherwise everything was fine--and even though near a freeway and busy street, inside is nice and quiet.
Mila was wonderful, responsive & supportive! Even with things being "semi-private" @ her place, she gave me plenty of privacy. The cats were perfect cuddlers & i felt right at home. The location is excellent & very quiet even in the thick of things near the freeway & right off venice blvd. Plenty of parking. i would stay here again in a heart beat.
Thank you, MIla!
I was so glad I chose to stay at Mila's. She and her boyfriend were extremely helpful and generous. The flat is absolutely amazing with lots of light and space but offers the privacy of a house. Her cats are very cuddly and fun! I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else in LA.
Great location, great place and warm welcome!
A wonderful and affordable option for west LA, Mina is a truly friendly host. Her two cats are extremely cute and friendly and the amenities such as cable TV, fast wireless internet, and a big kitchen are great. The area is quite suburban but features some really good little food options right near by. Public Transport to Santa Monica, LAX, Venice or UCLA is also super easy and cheap. There always seems to be some on street parking free as well. Overall I had a great week at Mina's place.
Mila was extremely accommodating at the 11 hour of my arrival in to town. The place suited my needs perfectly with full access to her kitchen and a quiet place in a bustling area of downtown LA. I would stay here again.
Amazing Host! Super clean and tidy apartment. I recommend it to anyone! Mila is super nice and a great host! :D
The place was very clean, and the pullout was very comfortable. Sadly I was very busy the entire time and didn't have a change to meet Mila but she was very helpful through email and phone!
It was very nice to meet Mila and her boyfriend during their stopover in Rome. They have been very punctual in communicating details of their arrival and at the end of their stay apartment was left in perfect condition.
Although I didn't meet Mina, she was very pleasant in all our conversations and took care of the apartment. Wouldn't hesitate to host her again!
Mila and Dogl are the most wonderful guests that we've ever had. They are pretty quiet and polite, however they interacted a lot with us. They joined our breakfast and tea time, drinking Kongfu tea with my parents. Though they only stayed for a shout time, we planed a west lake trip for them that we hoped they would like it. Both of them are very nice that we didn't want them to leave:)
I have to say Mila and her BF are really really great guests~~I love them so much! It was a big pleasure hosting her and her BF, who where the most considerate guests one could hope for. They left the guest room spotless. They are also very clean, polite, and respectful. I miss them already. I would definitely recommend to all hosts on Airbnb.
Lovely guests, charming and genuine and a pleasure to meet. Recommend to any host and welcome back any time!
Mila and her friend are polite and warm couple, they are excellent guests, clean and tidy. Definitely recommend them to next host.
Mila came in late and left early which is a pretty regular thing for me as a host when living next to the airport. Although I didn't get to know her, I could tell through our communications that she was a great person and I was so pleased to have her stay in the empire room (so named for it's paint color and mixture of old and new style). She was very respectful and I barely knew she was in the house! I wish we had more time to connect. I suggest hosting this lovely person if you get the chance!
Respectful, clean guest that followed procedures and communicated clearly. Would not hesitate to rent to again.
Mila and Dougal were the most wonderful guests! They are a very kind and courteous couple and I thouroughly enjoyed their company. We shared great conversation and it was a pleasure accomodating Mila for her birthday getaway. Needless to sat I'd wecome them back to come stay again anytime!
Mila and her boyfriend Dougal were really good guests. They were clean and left he place as they found it. They’re quite an adventurous and open-minded couple, having just come back to L.A. from a stint abroad in China. I was able to dig their brains a bit on the current cultural and social politics of the Middle Kingdom, which is always interesting for me. I’d definitely recommend them as guests for any host.
