I was in Fremont for business and was using air bnb for first time, i hope future experiences are as nice as staying with this lovely japanese couple. very kind, clean room, comfy futon bed. Taka was so nice as to carry my heavy bag up and down their stairs. this is a good place for a business stay, as i wasnt around much. I would definitely stay again,
really nice host!
Taka and Mayu were excellent hosts. Their home was very clean, and the two were very friendly and considerate. Their cats Shar and Suna are extremely cute and very well behaved; it was very fun playing with them!. The complex where they live is also very secure and well kept. I would highly recommend their home to anyone.
I reserved the private bedroom w/ less than 24 hours notice, so I was beyond appreciative of them accommodating me. Mayu responded quickly to all of my inquires and I ascertained I updated her w/ my status b/c based on their reviews, it would behoove me to do so. Much to my chagrin, I imposed on them by the late notice of stay, planning to check-in early morning (~2am), but didn't, and stayed an additional day w/out charge. I'm forever grateful of their hospitality. Mayu provided great directions. Their place is close to a Taco Bell and other fast food places (Carl's Jr, Little Caesars and Subway) are further down. I didn't notice a grocery store, though. I parked at the 3 minute parking spot by the phone in front of the gate when I first arrived and then was able to park very close to their place. You need a gate remote controller to enter the complex but not to exit. Mayu was gracious enough to lend me her umbrella and iron. I love how the window is large and both the bed and desk are juxtaposition to it, so while I worked on the desk or when I woke up, I had a view of the outdoors. There are 4 pillows, a thick clean blanket and even a portable heater in the room. This was awesome, considering it was cold. Other places I stayed, it was cold at night, no heater, thin unwashed blanket w/ just one dirty pillow. This is the 2nd place I stayed where it was quiet (YES!). I got work done. They weren't home much in the morning of my 1st day, which caused the quietness, but when they were home, it was still somewhat quiet. Other places I stayed had loud music/tv. My bathroom was across my bedroom and my bedroom was adjacent to their bedroom. The large kitchen window and sliding back door leading to the balcony also had outdoor views during the day (no curtains drawn), just like the bedroom (Yay!). Thank you Taka and Mayu!
Very nice host - had the chance to be with them twice. Will definitely recommend.
Staying at Taka and Mayu's was one of the best I had. It was such a lovely home ans space. Very cozy and comfortable, close to bus station, train, and stores. The hosts were very nice and friendly. I would recommend it!
Taka and Mayu were awesome hosts. They are super friendly and very considerate of one's desires - friendly and talkative, and quiet and respectful of space when the time arises. The place is clean and quiet, and their two cats are just lovely! The private bathroom is nice, and the amenities afforded were great. I'd stay there again.
