I'm an entrepreneur in artisanal product development of specialty foods, fashion, and Telezeen, an internet interface for ITV .I live in a small quaint antique village in a rural farming area just outside NYC in The Hudson River Valley.
Since 1976 I have worked in NYC and via internet. We drive into the city (1.25 hrs) but there is good direct bus service a few blocks away (1.45-2.0 hrs). It is a daily commutable distance. Our home is a traditional American colonial built in 2002 and our village has a New England feel with restaurants, bars, boutiques, antique places walkable within a few blocks.
We are 30 minutes drive from Woodbury Commons for great discount shopping for international visitors. There are orchards and vineyards to visit in the town. You will see horses and cattle grazing in the surrounding fields. There are several very good public golf courses nearby and Mountain Creek and Mt Peter.
I am food obsessed so we like to eat well at home right from the organic farms.
I like everything that is new in technology as well as art museums and performing arts such as jazz, opera and ballet, Broadway in Manhattan. I live in NYC stores because of my work.
I love Colorado and The Wilderness, Italy, London and travel to new places to experience culture that is new to me but there's always a lot in NYC to do and see as well as consume. We are happy to help plan tours.
