Susan was a great hostess. She was very welcoming, flexible and made sure that I had everything that I needed. The home is clean and the bed is comfortable. Susan was very kind and even gave me a tour of the neighborhood.
This was my first airbnb experience. I was in town for 2 weeks and I was looking for the least expensive place possible that was still in a convenient area. If you just need a cheap and safe place to crash, this is ideal! The room and bathroom were clean and cozy. The mattress is soft and comfortable with a down comforter which is my favorite. The house is well kept on a small quiet street in a nice neighborhood (compared to where I live in Chicago it felt super safe). I was able to park in the driveway. Susan was really nice and unobtrusive. We kept different hours but did manage a lunch out together once. The area also happens to be my favorite in Portland, there are so many amazing restaurants in a 2 mile radius. It was a great place to stay! I will stay again next time I am in Portland.
I just moved to Portland, and I stayed with Susan for the whole month of February while I looked for a permanent place to live. The room was nice, it had a little heater so that I could adjust the temperature as I desired. Her house is nice and clean. It's a cute neighborhood, and close to public transportation, which made it easy for me to get to work in downtown.
Susan is a good host, she is very hospitable and knows a lot about Portland. She is also a really cool, interesting person. I greatly enjoyed the conversations that we had over the course of my stay.
The only thing I will say is that she is a bit particular about certain small things, and I felt like, just at times, her communication style came across as slightly harsh. But as we got to know each other better I feel that we got to a point where we both had better communication and were able to talk about things constructively. (Just to be clear, there were no serious issues at all, just the occasional little thing).
Overall I had a positive experience. I really appreciated being able to stay with Susan, it was incredibly helpful to me when moving to a new city. I would definitely recommend staying with her. She was really helpfully to me, and even gave me an impromptu ride to my next airbnb place. Thank you Susan, hope to see you again soon!
I had a wonderful airbnb experience with Susan. She replied promptly to phone calls and messages and was flexible with setting up a time for check-in, even with my late plane arrival. The private room was cozy, with a small comfortable bed, desk, and space heater for cold nights. She also had a nice ney remodeled bathroom with shower. Susan even provided cold breakfast each morning which was really nice. She was easy to converse with. Her house is easily accessible off the 84. She was quiet and respectful of space. The price for stay each night is really affordable. I will definitely keep Susan's place in mind when I visit Portland again!
My pleasure to having Susan at my place and spend one day to visit some places in México City. She is very organized, she impressed me a lot.
Hope you come back to México again.
The best part of my stay was riding the metro with you and going to Zocalo on Benito Juarez Day! Muchas gracias y saludos y abrazos a ti y tu mama.
Susan is a gracious guest, she is considerate, respectful, clean, and really nice to have around. We enjoyed hosting and getting to know her. We recommend Susan without reservations.
