I'm a 28 year old who loves to explore and travel! I'm currently studying to become a english teacher in Copenhagen.
I rent out my apartment, most times, while I'm out travelling, which means that I will prob. not be able to show you around town.
We're a family of 4 with 2 children and booked Martin's flat for 3 nights. Flat has got a nice bedroom with a comfy double bed, a good shower room, a kitchen that's got all you need and a large living room with 2 single sofa/beds which was just perfect for us.
Loved Martin's apartment - comfortable, spacious, and located right in the middle of Norrebro. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spend a few days in Copenhagen!
My friends and I enjoyed a 4 night stay here just before Christmas. We were pleased with the location and size of the apartment for the 3 of us, and the bed and sofa-bed was very comfortable. It felt homely and was nice & warm too.
Our only disappointment was not being able to get in touch with our host for the entire time that we were there - we chose the apartment because it came with bikes but were not able to use them (or find them!). I had previously arranged to meet Martin to get the keys, but he had to go to work, so left the keys out for us (which was fine) but despite me trying to get in touch throughout our stay, I didn't hear anything back from him at all.
I'm still yet to hear back from the host, so I hope he is ok!!
The property is located in a quite road, close to various restaurants and shops and nicely positioned to allow you to explore all major attractions in town. Bus stop is 5 min walk, metro around 20 min. The appartment is well equipped and has everything you will need for either short or longer stays. We loved the large windows and the send of space in the big lounge. Martin was a great guest and ensured we had the most comfortable stay. We surely recommend!
The photos don't do the apartment justice! As Martin says, this apartment is super trendy and extremely spacious - it could easily fit 4 people. It has everything you need for your stay in Cph - the cable TV was very handy when the weather was poor.
The location is just perfect – the street is real quiet in the right way, with everything you need right around the corner (supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bars). It’s a short walk to Norreport station which easily connects you to all the core places in the city in one or two stops. Even the airport is a short metro / train ride away. We didn't make use of the bikes but we managed to walk along the pretty lakes to Osterbro and Vesterbro in no time at all.
Martin was a great host – he picked us up from the metro even though it was very late on a Friday, showing us the way to the apartment and everything we needed to know about the immediate area. M gave us some great bar / restaurant tips and advice on the city which helped make our stay even more special. It was very clear that we could contact him if we ever had a problem. I really recommend making use of this apartment – we couldn't have asked for more!
Martin is a old college-friend of mine. I know him as being a good guy, fun and outgoing and very respectful!
I'd feel absolutely confident hosting him or recommending other to host him!
